On some games, when I launch them, I get a code dump on the screen and at the bottom it says rebooting in 60 secs.
After it reboots, the game works fine.

Error says: Exception (DSI) Occurred!
then a load of numbers, forllowed by a stack dump and code dump

I am using :
Loader version: 68d
Base: IOS58 r21-d2x-v3 modmii mload 1.0
Booting off USB
Accessing CFG thru the forwarder

Any ideas?

Can you post a snapshot of the screen with the STACK DUMP numbers...?
Btw, what partition type do you use? (fat/wbfs/...)
If you go back to version 67 does it also crash?

The stack dump decodes to this:

Disc_BootPartition
Disc_WiiBoot
Menu_Boot
OpenGameDialog
Gui_Mode

But unfortunately it doesn't help me much

So I have more questions for you, please answer all:

1. If I understand right, this dump is with version 68 release, not 68d?
2. Does it crash with 68d as well?
3. If you start it from console mode does it crash too?
4. Can you downgrade to 67 try if it works?
5. Does it crash always with the same games? (which ones?)
6. Does it work fine with other loaders? (GX, WiiFlow, NeoGamma)
7. Does it work any better if you launch through HBC instead of a forwarder?

1. This dump was on 68 release.
2. I was getting the same (maybe not exactly same) with 68d
3. What do you mean console mode?
4. Will try this now and test for a few days.
5. Games its crashed on so far are Wii Fit Plus, Super Mario All Stars, Phantom Brave.
6. Not got any others installed, always been very happy with CFG alone
7. Will test for a few days before downgrading.

thanks for the answers.

console mode is when you press B and get a text listing of games, you can start the game from there pressing A.
I'm asking this and the question about downgrading to 67 to get an idea if the newly introduced gui in v 68 is the reason of the crashes.
If it still crashes with v67 and/or 68 in console mode then the gui is not the reason.

wii fit plus works fine for me, so it's probably not a game problem...

I've downgraded to v67, and gone through the HBC not the forwarder.
Some games are now freezing, and when you open the game details it doesn't play any music like usual, or does but is corrupted.
The same thing is happening in Console Mode

Sometimes it doesn't detect the USB HDD at all, even after powering it down and back on again while it searches.

So now I'm wondering if the Base: IOS58 r21-d2x-v3 modmii mload 1.0 is affecting it.
Would it be worth upgrading / downgrading the IOS58?

EDIT: I upgraded back to 68d and get the music back but its still freezing and intermittantly crashing out. I can load a dozen games with it being fine, then a dozen times it won't load, usually when the wife wants a go and I'm not around so it frustrates her.

When it freezes, it stops at the bit where it says:

Booting Wii game, please wait...

IOS[249]

ok yes please try some other base than 58.
base 58 is special as it uses a builtin usb2 driver which is different than any other base.
So maybe it has something to do with that.

How do I change from Base58?

I have reverted back to the Waninkoko (sp?) rev21 versions so IOS249 now shows as "IOS249 Base: 58 rev21 modmii (r21)

and I still got the code dump screen when I tried Super Mario All Stars

EDIT: Mario Kart Wii also freezes mid race as well now
