Hacking Does the new "3DS" update of R4 SDHC RTS work?

So, I got an R4i SDHC RTS flashcard, witch I use on my dsi.
I`m planning to buy the 3DS, so I have just updated the RTS card, with an update that "is going to make it work on the 3DS".
Still, i have checked some lists over flashcards that work on the 3DS, and one place, RTS work, one place, RTS doesen`t work, and one place, RTS "destroys the 3DS"....

So i just wonder... Does it work?

Also, I got another flashcard, witch i use on my DSL, and I wonder it exists an "3DS update" for it, but i don`t even know what kind of card it is, so i wonder if any of you know.
The files on the "unknown" flashcard are:
_DS_MENU.DAT
_DS_MENU
_DS_MENU.SYS
_DS_MSHL.NDS
EncFiltLog.menc
theme
usrcheat.dat
MAP: .Trash-1000
MAP: _system_
MAP: moonshl
The card is some of the same as my sisters r4i SDHC card.

PS: Im totaly noob, both at gbatemp, and in the flashcardworld, so i might be posting at the wrong place, or doing anything else stupid...

According to the official site, it should work with the 3DS.

As for the other flashcart, is there a site or name on the front of the flashcart?

So, should i try it on the 3ds of a friend, or will that brick eighter the card or his 3ds?

If your friend doesn't mind, then go right ahead.

It shouldn't brick the 3DS system or the card. It is a possibility, though.
don't hold me liable if it does, etc., etc., etc.

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but is there a 3DS update for the R4i Gold from r4ids.cn, or do I have to buy the 3DS version?

    @The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
