There is a beta 3 out now, that supports usb2.0 hard drives.

After my first run at it, its pretty good for a beta. I got the game to load, and to use the wiimote as a mouse pointer for the menus, I got the binds to work and the first mission to load. For some reason the game wouldn't recognize my nunchuck so when I loaded into the first mission I couldn't move around. There are a bunch of binds that are missing, and clearly the game was designed for a keyboard. Its going to be interesting to see if you can bind say ' 1 + 2 + z + c = jump drive or return home', like the snes Wing Commander version. In that game they bound select + L for comm menu or something like that.

controls are actually very good if you use the suggested binds by the programmer

i think if the programmer maps the 'c' button on the nuchuck to replace the keyboard 'shift' key then you could almost double the number of buttons

e.g.

'a' fires primary weapon
'a+c' targets directly ahead
