I am in the market for a new Slot-1 flash cart because it is apparent I can't play the newest games on my Slot-2 M3 miniSD Lite.

I at least want:
Best Rom Compatibility
SDHC Support
Passme (will boot to Slot-2 so I can still use my old flash cart)
I WANT TO PLAY KIRBY SUPER STAR ULTRA

Right now I am looking at Acekard 2, TopToy, and iTouchDS because I can get them cheap. I was also told to use a class 6
A-DATA 4GB MicroSDHC card (please tell me if there are better, larger, cheaper cards to use).

I want the best though, I am thinking that is M3. Supposedly the best on the market right now is CycloDS.

What is a TF card? Does iTouchDS have passme?

So please tell me what Slot-1 flash cart I should buy (which one will probably have the most support in the future would be nice).

Knowledge Base
CycloDS - $50 (Gold Award)

BEST ON MARKET!!!
CycloDS > M3 Simply
The CycloDS Evolution uses raw 512KB save files, the same format as the R4 DS and M3 DS Simply. Save game files are placed in the same directory as the ROM you are loading and are given the same filename except with a ".sav" extension.

TopToy - $12.33 (Silver Award)

DSTT/TTDS doesn't really let you organize your games, scanning through them is laggy, Moonshell is in the game list
DSTT uses the same saves as the R4/M3 and many other flashcards, but they are grouped with the games >.<
Uses real-time save

iTouchDS - $17.20 (Silver Award)

Made by M3
GUI sucks
Uses generic .SAV file type

M3DS Real - $28.61 (Silver Award)

Easy game sorting
Uses real time save even on GBA games

Acekard 2 - $14 (Gold Award)

Acekard 2 > R4
Its still lacking quite a few features touted by its competition, such as real-time save, in-game guide, slow-motion, and integrated expansion cart support

Supercard One v3 - $25.55 (Gold Award) (I bought this one)

This flashcart offers SDHC support, Real Time Save, soft reset, and a lot of other features.
You can swap the top screen to the bottom screen, and control the menu completely with the touch screen.

Misc
DSTT/TTDS, Acekard 2, CycloDS, Supercard One v3, & M3DS Real has built in PASSME
M3 Simply = R4 (R4 updates faster though)
R4 can't use SDHC AND HAS NO UPDATES!!
Supercard DS One SDHC can use up to 8GB cards, BUT HAS NO PASSME SUPPORT!!

Thanks for the help, it is greatly appreciated.

RESULT
I bought the Supercard One v3 ($25.55). Now I need to buy a suitable microSD card.

4GB SDHC A-Data - $8.49

8GB SDHC Kingston - $23

8GB SDHC Kingston - $24 + FS (I bought this one)
http://www.meritline.com/kingston-8gb-micr...ter-class4.html

RESULT2

I bought the Kingston 8GB microSDHC for $24 with Free Shipping.

My total is $49.56 for a Supercard One V3 + Kingston 8GB microSDHC, not bad at all.

Might have to buy this if the included card reader doesn't work:
ATP All-in-1 ProMax USB 2.0 Memory Card Reader SDHC Compatible

Out of those, id probably go for the acekard, my acekard 2 works fine with everything I use, But if you can aford it, it realy is best to go with a cyclo (1 have one of those 2 lol), as it just feels so much more polished than all the rest. also, its a bit of a waste to only use 4 gig micro sd in something that can take up to 8, and as for the class, well everything ive tryed from kingston and sandisk has worked great, with minimal speed difference

R4 = DEAD no updates at all... though i wont get into that.... *sniff* m3 simply.....not worth it because of m3 real (SDHC support, Sakura comming soon)

Yea, I forgot R4 is dead updatewise.

RESULT
I would say after all of the information gathering, I am between Acekard 2 ($14), Supercard One v3 ($25.55), and M3DS Real ($28.61). Please help me decide.

just think in terms of what you like about each, the relative costs and how much each feature is worth to you and you have your own answer

I think the most important question is what flash cart out of the three will have the best continued support and updates. I don't know the answer to this question.

SuperCard, the features really can just be beaten by the Cyclo.
Real time save is such a life saver sometimes.
And text reader is useful.

I'm between the Acekard 2 and Supercard One V3 now.

While I like the GUI and skins of Acekard 2 better, Supercard One v3 is more powerful. I love savestates!

I am going to buy Supercard One V3 and an 8GB MicroSD card. I can always still buy an Acekard 2 cheap later.

Anyone have any good deals on MicroSD SDHC cards? See 1st post

Is there a guide for which card to buy?

Do the flash carts automatically trim the roms?
