Size Matters.......I cannot Even installed two games on the memory of my WIIU, the 2 Games are The legend of zelda BOTW (15GB in all with DLC) and Project Maiden (14.1 with DLC), as the WIIU is supposed to be 32GB that means that the system+VWII system is more that 2GB?? I am sceptic but it seems true.....I have just installled ZELDA BOTHW, nintendon't, loadine channel forwarder, NUSPLI, Homebrew launcher on wiiU side, I have install Project maiden but cannot install it's DLC.
So it's not feasable to install the 2 biggest games on the wiiU with their DLC?? (the second is not even Xenoblade or Bayonneta2), that strange.....! Is it more than 2 GB for OS+Vwii+tiramisu+ (maybe the image to be able to reformat the wiiU)?

Considering all of the SD/USB solutions available, internal NAND size had never bothered me.
Only issue I had was BotW which needed DLC and Base data on NAND (for me).

Does anyone know why the Tiramisu interface doesn't allow custom forwarders, and/or a homebrew channel app on the menu screen?

Seems to me like this is a step backwards from Haxchi. Being able to run things as "apps" from the menu is a no-brainer when it comes to UI.

Retroarch, in particular, is something that would be way better as a home screen app. At the moment, you have to go Mii Maker > Homebrew Channel > Retroarch, instead of just... Retroarch

You can still boot using the Retroarch Channel, but you have to delete 50_hbl_installer.rpx in wiiu\environments\tiramisu\modules\setup.

As I understand it, doing this means that the HBL can no longer run from Mii Maker... so, how would I then run the HBL?

Also, isn't that file linked to a bunch of other Tiramisu system stuff which will potentially break if that file is removed?

There is a homebrew launcher channel you can install.

And no nothing is broken if you remove the 50_hbl_installer.rpx file.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

I deleted the file, and went to add the homebrew_launcher to wiiu\apps. It was already there (probably from when I installed Tiramisu the other day), so I just left it as-is.

I booted up my Wii U, and Mii Maker is now just Mii Maker... but, there's no Homebrew Channel launcher. So, I had to put the file back.

You install the homebrew channel the same way you install games using wup installer.

Not Tiramisu is broken, all the existing channels are broken and need to be fixed. Almost all existing channels have their own exploit chain embedded which intefers with Tiramisu and leads to undefined behaviour. Channels without any exploits work perfectly fine

Ah, OK. Well that's simple enough. Where do I get the installer file (I'm assuming it goes into the "install" folder, same as games)?

I see. Is this something that will be fixed for a future update of Tiramisu (or, indeed, Aroma)?

OK... I'm going to have to go total noob on this one. I've tried putting the HBL folder into the "install" folder on my SD card, and it doesn't show up in WUP Installer GX2 like game folders do. Do I need to zip the folder? Unpack the contents? Only put the .elf file onto the SD card?

Thanks for your help so far, I'm very new to this.

OK, so here's what I have on the SD:

sd:/install/homebrew_launcher/homebrew_launcher.elf, icon.png, meta.xml

I run WUP Installer GX2 and get the following error:

Error: No installable content found

:wtf:
