The fact that as Mod we can't boot people from groups is a real fucking crisis.

Why?

Because why be a moderator if I am not actually able to do my job? Deleting posts is helpful but I am unable to edit out the same post from a post that quoted it and I am also unable to boot members only here to troll the group. If I want any of that done, then I need to bother the Staff to do it for me. Isn’t the whole point of group staff to be able to do some group moderation on behalf of the staff?

We tend to have mostly good experiences in this group but every so often a troll joins and it requires asking for help from the site Staff

I'm sorry to hear that. I have multiple groups and have the luck that I never had to consult Staff. Hope you can resolve your issues.

Yeah. We can't actually properly "ban" people. At best we can remove them from the group but they can just rejoin and I'm not making this group private because of a few assholes.

I can’t even remove them ._. I can just hide their posts.

I think it's important to plan ahead. The Roe V Wade thing is another indicator to me that there will be more pressure put on the LGBTQIA+ community and more hostility towards it will be tolerated. I may be wrong, but that is how it looks to me at the moment.
