If you would have tried to read the FP, here is the link to that method:Where do I find instructions for the PDF+IMG method?
Both the links are dead (and the recovery image is for the omega and not the DE). Do you happen to have a link for the EZflash Omega DE?If you would have tried to read the FP, here is the link to that method:
https://www.ezflash.cn/zip/recovery-en.pdf
But read it through before you go and do anything rash or you might lose your data.
I already said in #18 . The top post, the third paragraph. it contains the pdf and the both image.Where do I find instructions for the PDF+IMG method?
Got it figured out. Both of your methods didn't work. Had to open the cart up and reflow but it's good now.I already said in #18 . The top post, the third paragraph. it contains the pdf and the both image.
What exactly did you do? I’m having the same problem and non of the methods are working for meGot it figured out. Both of your methods didn't work. Had to open the cart up and reflow but it's good now.
Reflowed the board. Something with the chips was going on.What exactly did you do? I’m having the same problem and non of the methods are working for me
Contact dealer for replacement or read the repair guide in my signature.Tried the pdf way, tried the hex editor way….. no joy. EZF ODE test card says “read S71 ID Error!!!! “read S98 ID OK”
Not sure what to do next.
Is it possible to get a replacement S71 chip, as the one on my cart physically brokeThese are two different repair methods:
PDF+IMG method, you need to erase the entire SD card to create a recovery SD card with the contents of the loader.
BIN way does not need to erase the contents of the SD card, but the need to use hex editor, I also explained that this is for advanced users, the average user can use PDF + IMG way, there have been many users use this method to repair their card.
If you have tried two methods, have not repaired your card, still shows NO LOADER FOUND, you may need to select the "test card" option inside the safe mode to see if there is an S71 error, if so, you can contact the dealer to replace or refer to my signature's repair guide.
Hi! I had to use the recovery image because my card stopped working, some bad sd card issue I guess. But now I cant update the kernel, always get the message "bad NOR ID"
A quick way to fix EZ-FLASH OMEGA/OMEGA Definitive Edition get S71 error when test card in the safe mode.
Sometimes there is an S71 error, may be the card screw is too tight, it may cause the PCB deformation and S71 chip false soldering, then you can try to loosen the screw, open the case, reposition the PCB, re-install the case, screwing the screws(not too tight). This will probably be able to have a 1/3 chance to fix S71 error in a quick way.
8. EZ-FLASH OMEGA/OMEGA Definitive Edition shows "bad nor id" when updating the kernel
The S71 chip solder point failure. The S71 chip is located at the back side of the PCB. The one at the left side in three chips. Use a heat gun to re-solder it. Please use high-temperature tape to protect other chips and components around it from being blown away.
Hi. I don't know what the heat gun is, my card works but the problem is that it won't update. I had to use a recovery image because stopped working at all, I don't remember the message, it was another blue screen with another message.Check this first before trying the heat gun

Hi again! I've tried to use the recovery img found in this very post, because the one I used it seemed to be an old version or something. I just can't. If I try to use the recovery file again I get this message:
