a little off topic, but I just installed a patched iso 80. I thought that the vwii theme might get in the way causing a soft brick, but nope, no issues. :D

I used the files but, don't show the Beta, my SD Card is 16 gb and Fat 32
The d2x cIOS Installer download from that guide contains a ciosmaps.xml, this is the important file that contains the vWii specific info (d2x-v10-beta52-vWii and d2x-v10-beta53-alt-vWii) used for installation, as well as the "v10" folder that contains the IOS modules, are you 100% sure you're using the correct files?
The archive looks correct, it should be showing up if you're using the right files.

Well, since most IOS sources are down (the NUS is down), a lot of tools got taken down also. Ask @XFlak for the wad version to install it.
Or use an offline install.
Most tools use the nus to download the original IOSes and then patch those on the fly before installing those. CIOS is a slightly moddified IOS.
I'm, not sure there are mirrors of the NUS still around and patched versions of the NUS clients to download these files.

How I use an Offline Install?
