If on Dolphin isn't working either, then your patched WAD might be corrupted.
I will try by myself this and I will tell you if it's working.

Sorry to kind of hijack the thread, but do you know if LoZ: Majora's Mask NTSC will run correctly at 480p\60hz on a PAL Wii with no audio problems using Steve's loader?

Is it safe to install NTSC region freed WADs to a PAL real NAND?
Nope.
Sometimes it will throw ticket error, if you are lucky to install you still won't access to the channel due to region conflict.

Playing NTSC WADs on PAL Wii requires to use @stev418's custom NAND Loader MOD 1.1.
I don't know another way for play NTSC games on PAL Wii. Maybe try USB Loader GX, WiiFlow or anything else?

I already have it working via WiiFlow+SNeek (using the Loader MOD - thanks) I just prefer using Real NAND instead of SNeek for problem games whenever it is possible.

What is the point of these various PC apps that make WADs region free then? It seems useless.

I just tried it. It works. Neek was also required. Real NAND would probably work too.

Could you tell me exactly how you got that to work? I'm trying to run that exact game MM NTSC, tried patching it with @stev418 forceNTSC_loader and _wwpacker.loader but the audio is still garbled and it runs at 50hz.

Edit: I'm running it through a RGB SCART cable, if that makes any difference. NES/SNES games don't even boot at all (NTSC wads that is).

Since you are using scart you don't need to patch anything, wads will work from any region. Provided your tv supports ntsc/60hz signals of course.
What are you having difficulty with, VC or WiiWare wads?
Are you running them from Emunand (Sneek/Uneek)?
What drive are you using and what format?
Are you loading them from usbloadergx or the Wii's home menu?
Post a syscheck here.

I'm trying to play a VC wad (namely Majora's Mask NTSC). I'm running them after installing them on the Wii (using multi-mod-manager) via USB loader GX. So no drives are involved here. I will edit this post later with a syscheck or post it in a moment.

Ok. So launching them in USBLoaderGX with ntsc video mode doesn't work? Does it give you a black screen?
Make sure you have region free everything & region free channels enabled in Priiloader (hacks).

I apologize for the formatting, there was no other way. How would I go about launching them in NTSC mode? I have at some point gotten it to work full speed but the whole screen becomes heavily red-tinted. N64 games do not give me a black screen, but NES, Megadrive, and SNES games do give me a black screen. I have also never messed with Priiloader, you recommend turning those one I assume?

No problem.
How would I go about launching them in NTSC mode?
When inside USBLoaderGX, click on the game then settings, just scroll and you will see a video mode option, change it to ntsc 60hz.
Also i suggest using this modded version of usbloadergx by @blackb0x. Remove the old usbloadergx files and replace them with these.

Don't know about that.
N64 games do not give me a black screen, but NES, Megadrive, and SNES games do give me a black screen.
You should do the same to them (launching them in ntsc mode).
I have also never messed with Priiloader, you recommend turning those ON I assume?
Yes. Just click on the Priiloader page i posted above to see how.

Small update here, CoolMe thanks for the suggestions on updating and installing cIOS etc... I found out after much cables testing (RGB Scart, S-video, composite, component), that NTSC video output simply does not support RGB which is a shame because that is the highest quality analog signal. When playing NTSC titles I have resorted to using an S-video cable which it does seem to support (composite + S-video seems to be the pin-out when outputting NTSC), S-video looks better than composite so it's something.

That's not entirely true. Scart and component will and can display ntsc video. Not sure about S-video though.
So you still can't get either Majora's Mask or (snes, nes etc.) ntsc VC games to work?

I can, using S-video at 60hz. It's true that SCART can display NTSC video, but only via composite NOT RGB. I have looked at the specs of the video out for NTSC and RGB simply is not supported. Only the PAL output uses the leads used for RGB, the NTSC model uses those same leads for S-video. So changing the video output to that of NTSC models S-video becomes available and RGB unavailable, composite works on both modes.

The component did indeed work very nicely, but at the moment I do not have a CRT that accepts component cables I'm afraid.

What do you mean by rgb? With scart it should display ntsc signals, 240p (60hz) & 480i (60hz) just fine, 480p is not supported with scart iirc you would need component cables for that.
Can you tell me what happens when you launch a ntsc vc wad in USBLoaderGX? When the video mode is set to ntsc 60hz, and have the hacks enabled in Priiloader?

I'm not sure how to explain RGB to you without an RGB SCART cable diagram but just a short rundown: everything depends on the video output mode. A PAL60 (480i60hz) output supports RGB over the same cable as composite (the SCART cable). Only in PAL60 does the Wii output RGB. When set to NTSC 60hz output the same leads used for RGB on PAL60 are used for S-video, using the same SCART RGB cable then results in a red picture because NTSC games launch (even on PAL60 video output) at the NTSC video mode by default. Your suggestion of setting the video mode to NTSC 60hz works but results in that red picture using RGB over SCART. Moreover forcing PAL60, makes the game run, but the audio is garbled.

Let me clarify that composite over the same SCART cable shows correct colours at the correct speed, but composite is much blurrier than RGB so I would like to avoid using that. I should have looked this up online before because it seems pretty common knowledge online that NTSC video output on the Wii does not support RGB but only composite + S-video + component, my bad.

Edit: I have found that some people "patch" NTSC wads to output PAL instead of NTSC, but I'm not sure how to go about that.
