Basically it's what's in the title, however, I don't know if I can post the file here, I have all the samples from Herzeleid to <untitled>, I need someone to tell me if I can post the file here, If in the meantime anyone wants it, let me know and I'll send it privately.

By the way, I've only made a few samples, most of them are from other synths. The file occupies about 1.6GB.

I personally don't really have any use for them. I haven't created any music for a very long time. I believe the last thing I did was a remix for an Erasure track back in 2005 that ended up on their official site for download. Funny part is that I was literally listening to Rammstein for about 3 hours straight the other day, and more today. Still deciding if I can afford the $200+ ticket to see them, plus hotel, plus food, blus beverages, plus gas $ for a 300+ mile round trip. I've seen them once before but it was back in 1998.

I also saw them live in 2004 I think, on the Ahoi tour, which is the tour featured on the Volkerball DVD. But do you want the Samples?

No, no. I don't have use for the samples any longer. I don't even have any music creating/authoring/mixing/mastering apps on my PC anymore. But thank you for the offer.

Edit: On second thought. It would still be fun to listen to them.

I do remember them, a certain song, but I don't speak German, so I had no idea what they were saying. it's still on a cd if anyone uses those anymore. :P

I still use CDs! I have four Rammstein CDs, and two Rammstein DVDs. And in my storage room, I have a shelf full of CDs and Vinyls. I've been listening to these CDs on the 5.1 Sound System that I have in the living room, but like, VERY loud, and I don't think the neighbors are too funny about it, but I want them to go to hell, always complain about everything...

And probably the song you heard from them was Du Hast, which is their best known song, and I love that song, the energy it conveys is incredible!

One that I've been listening to a lot is one called Bück Dich, it must be their heaviest song, and the samples used in this song are amazing! I remember seeing this live...

The stems are the individual recordings of the instruments that make up a song. So for example, the bass only in one track, the lead vocal only in another, etc. They are valued among us musicians for hearing what notes were really played (the shittier/louder the music, the harder it is to make out individual notes) and by DJs for remixing projects.

No, the samples I have are synth sounds, most of them from the ENSONIQ ASR-10, which are used by the amazing Christian Flake Lorenz, the keyboardist of Rammstein. It doesn't just have synth sounds, but it also has special sound effects, like buggs bunny, DOOM, 007 sounds... Which are actually used in their music.

That must be quite goofy music then.

Nah, it's pretty heavy, listen to Küss Mich, or Wollt Ihr from Bett in flammen sehen, which are the ones with the Buggs Bunny and DOOM sound effects respectively. Also listen to Mein Teil and Bück Dich, their heaviest songs.

When I saw them live, when it was Bück Dich, the singer was violating the keyboardist with a dildo haha, and on Mein Teil, the singer was boiling the guy in a cauldron with a flamethrower, I even felt the heat of that shit 😂

I've never heard the term "stem," and I was playing guitar for about 17 years. I've stopped for five years. maybe my dad has heard of it?

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though

@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.

Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
