Please read the thread from begining, this is well explain. In fact, this is free hack, it supports cold boot, boopair, sig patches, quick start and its brick free compare to CBHC
Well I have tried it and it is amazing, very very easy to setup, and it autoboots to Wii U menu with Bloodpair automatically, it is amazing.

Any drawbacks compared to haxchi? I have noticed one, that HBL forwarder does not.

The Autoboot Module has been updated (AutobootModule-20220118-140408):

Download the latest Tiramisu package here: (tiramisu-a3d11ee.zip)
https://tiramisu.foryour.cafe/package/tiramisu (Click on "Download All" and copy the files to your sd card)

Changelog:
  • Show a Account selection screen when booting into the HBL and no default account has been set.
This version fixed the problem I had with the the quick start menu! Before this version my Wii U always said that 2 hard drives where connected (one being the uStealth for vWii one). So the slow hard drive spin up fixed this.

that also fixed that problem for me with quick menu and two hdds being connected, but I still can't run quick menu games from the external drive. not sure why unless my drive is just really slow. there's no slowdown in games, it just takes it a few seconds on the "please wait" message when you first start the system.

I don't want to turn this into an "i'm an idiot" post, but i'm having a hell of a time with something that seemed so easy to do. I'll try explain what happened and where im at.
First, my WiiU was previously CBHC hacked. But that's as far as i had ever gotten it. I was always just too busy to even get any games loaded onto it. Last night i came across the Pence video on youtube and i watched the entire hour and it seemed like it was exactly what i had been hoping to do with easy to follow instructions (even for removing the CBHC hack).
However what was not clear to me until much later in my frustration was that I was s supposed to download a rar (Wii U SD CARD Tiramisu) that would have had everything i need for getting all the way through the process. But the first thing they tell you is that you need these "Nanddumper, PayloadLoader Installer and Base-Tiramisu., plus the 01 sigpatches.rpx file". So i downloaded those, threw them into the root of my existing sd card... NOT the rar of their SD card i was supposed to download first. I misunderstood that.
But I managed to get the wiiU hacked seemingly fine. then the vWii was going fine until i had no apps listed in the homebrew channel. I though it was going to just go to the homebrew store like the wiiU. So i started scouring for answers as to why i only had bubbles. And i know i screwed things up somehow. After a reboot, i got this message "Failed to load sd:wiiu/payload.elf Starting the console without any modifications"
I know for a fact that payload.elf is there. I reformatted the card, copied the files back over, same message. I can't get into the environment loader at all. So i can't uninstall the payloadloader to start over. I'm tearing my hair out. I though i could just go through the whole process and it would just reinstall things but the exploit.xyz gives me a message about a FAT32 formatted sd card is needed etc, which it is. I'm stuck here :/

The sd card works perfectly into the laptop or other devices?, if you said yes, you should clean the sd port of your wii u.

This was your first error: Don't follow random how-tos, especially not on YT, but the official guide only: https://wiiu.hacks.guide

I was s supposed to download a rar (Wii U SD CARD Tiramisu)
No, no, a thousand times no! You download from https://tiramisu.foryour.cafe only. Some random .rar archive from some random youtuber might be weeks out of date!

So do a clean Tiramisu install and in case you still have any issues afterwars: Ask again.

//EDIT: To the ones responsible for wiiu.hacks.guide: How to uninstall CBHC might be a topic you want to add to prevent people from searching "better" guides...

Forwarders work.
Some do and some dont, for example retroarch forwarder is stuck on retroarch logo.

Also, then in tiramisu i try option to boot into vWii Hombrew Channel, it boots me back to Wii U menu, why is that?

Booting to vWii menu via tiramisu works fine, but it does not boot into vWii HBL.

Like V10 said, looks like you didn't follow the official guide. https://tiramisu.foryour.cafe/ bundles everything inside one .zip for you, https://wiiu.hacks.guide is the only "approved" guide. I wouldn't recommend any other guide at all.

Works for me from external drives, only the usb loader GX forwarder brings me to the Wii U menu instead of booting into USB loader.

This version doesn’t work with my 2 hard drives. Brings me back to the Wii U menu with a game on the external drive. Sometimes even displays the message that 2 drives are connected again.

Is the fix for slow hard drives not included in this version?

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
