What’s up with the volume -/+ issues you keep dealing with, thought it was only + button? What did you do to get + going?
This with the old/new trinket installed?
What guide are you following?
Which uf2 files have you used for flashing?
Have you tried to enable autoRCM in hekate to see if payload pushes then?
Have you tried holding vol+ while powering on or holding both power and vol+ while powering on? If installed and flashed properly you will see a slider!

OK sorry for the late reply i had been working on it all day so what happened got everything working, just volume down is fixed, the vol plus issue happened with the resistor and the clip was also faulty for the ribbon so both were replaced and worked perfectly just the volume down needs to be fixed then ill have a fully working console

At least you got it working. So that’s great news. Not to sure about the battery drain. The trinket barley uses anything at all. The only time I personally had a battery drain was because of autoRCM and the switch not actually powering completely off. I’m not sure but Atmosphere fixed that issue a long time ago if your using AutoRCM but the trinket could interfere with that maybe.

Did you have battery issue prior?

to be honest i probably did but i noticed it now i guess but i think its fine im just being a bit paranoid i assume because ive seen some forums for battery life on trinket switch haha. Do you know where i can get the schematics for the nintendo switch power button/ vol down button so i can see where it is not working.

No luck either. I would test functionality at the ribbon cable and work back from there checking for continuity and shorts. Make sure there isn’t a bridge or solder ball floating around you didn’t notice before

ribbon cables work fine, just dont know which pin is used from the vol down so it becomes hard to track down

Use a multimeter to test for continuity from the button to the pins. Unplug the battery unless your looking for voltage. Don’t bridge pins with the prob if your testing with the battery connected.
