Install FMCB on SCPH-30004 DVD player 1.20E Without hdd

Hi everyone! I want to install fmcb to my ps2, but i cant. I tried FreeDVDBoot(Idk why, Cuz i watched the compatibility list and my console is incompatible with FreeDVDBoot) Even any othe Ulaunchelfs ISO-s i wasted like 5 dvds but i cant boot into ULaunchELF. How can i install fmcb to my ps2? (I cant use FHDB to install fmcb cuz i dont have netwoprk adapter, and dont Have a pc that i can use for formatting my HDD-s. And I dont want to buy any of these FMCB Cards from amazon... ETC. Anyways Thanks for answering.

Which game are you trying to launch uLE with and what process/guide are you following?
I installed FMCB using Agent Under Fire years ago and it worked first try.

Yeah. I assume that's what you meant by trying to burn a uLE disc.

I just burned a FreeDVDBoot ISO(I didnt notice its 2.10 and not 1.20) And an image file from a youtuber. The others were just written in different speeds. All of them gave me disc read error. The swap trick may work, but i dont have swapmagic tool.(my consol is unmodded and its a PHAT Console btw)

There are a variety of older, complex methods with game exploits, swap tricks and with Action Replay (with and without media player) and whatnot.
They are all terrible in my opinion. I used an Action Replay method involving some manual editing a few years ago – and would never do that again. It was horrible.
Depending on what you have and don't have it could be expensive to get the needed stuff. More expensive than buying a Memory Card with FreeMCBoot (which you don't want).

What i think are easy methods:

• A slim PS with a working DVD drive + FreeDVDBoot is the easiest method for installing FreeMCBoot to a Memory Card. ← That would be my choice. Needs five minutes access to a (borrowed) slim PS2
• Swap Magic for loading uLE from CD-R
• A PS2 with a modchip simply booting a CD-R (only if modchip is already installed since soldering >15 wires to tiny points isn't exactly easy)

Gotcha. As far as I'm aware, FreeDVDBoot doesn't work with 1.20, so that's out.

You can do the swap trick without a swap magic if you open the console. You basically leave the top of the console off so when the tray is retracted you can access the disc from above. I don't have an exact tutorial or anything, but that's how I did it years back.
