How much are you trying to spend also what version are you going for? Do you
How much are you trying to spend also what version are you going for? Do you want to have it chipped or do you want one that doesn’t require opening it
What is best in your opinion I am new to this and I am really looking to play pokemon mostly but would like a fully jailbroken switch can you explain the difference of the 2 please

eBay has a lot of unpatched switches. Be sure to search “unpatched” for best results as eBay can take down listings with certain keywords like “jailbreak” or “modded”

I'd go through a site like eBay to buy an unpatched Switch, since you end up with things like buyer protection with decent refund/return policies and such in case someone sells you a unit that isn't as advertised. But also a few years back I had a great experience trading a patched new-condition Switch for an unpatched Switch w/ some dings and scratches on the case (which didn't matter since I intended to swap the entire housing w/ a purple one anyway) on Reddit on the subreddit /r/hardwareswap, so that could also be an avenue worth exploring if eBay doesn't work out, along with local listing sites like Craigslist/Kijiji/FB Marketplace/etc.

Don't listen to that user who suggested using a 'website' to "check" serial numbers. None of them are accurate. Instead, use this thread.
