Homebrew I'm getting a switch for jailbreaking, is there anything I should know before i do it?

I already have a RCM jig and a micro sd card and micro sd card reader, but is there anything i should know about before jailbreaking it?
Like for example i'm wondering if i would still be able to play local play if my switch gets banned, like on animal crossing so i'm able to transfer hacked items over to my island. And will emulators get me banned if i use them? Someone please help!

Before you create an emunand, delete the wifi settings and put the console in flight mode because the console will try to connect to the internet once you boot into emunand.

Only install nsp's on emunand.

Dont go online with emunand.

If you dont use nsp's/hacked stuff on sysnand its unlikely you will get banned.

Not all switches have jailbreaks. Unless something changed some require modchip some cant be hacked at all. I think only the original switch model can be jailbroken and they're hard to find. Probably Ebay and expect to pay more for one used than buying a new one in store.

Indeed source a hackable switch!
Emunand is a copy of your nand memory (the built in memory on your switch 32GB), so if you boot to your created emunand you are not running on your system memory but from something like a file. This keeps your official firmware clean so you can use it online without worries.
NSP is the file format of (illegal) roms.

ive already checked my serial code and everything so i know my switch is hackable

to be honest i dont reckon i would be using online anyway, but if my switch were to get banned would i still be able to do local play on animal crossing? cause it only bans online right?
