Do you plan add those Digimon you added before to more translated version too?
Plus would be nice to see story translated till we enter Digital World or even till we reach place where we can access DigiFarm and other things along side with story inside there after we reach as well. For rest of the story I don't mind if I know what happens at begging.

I would have added Shoutmons and others IF I could, trust me. The problem is with YSMENU firmware. If I modify the ROM code, the game will not be recognized and it will give me an "error message". This happens only with YSMENU, original kernels can run the alternative Shoutmon's version very well.
Also, I have modified the font file in order to run with YSMENU, and I worked hard in this formula. Maybe it could be done with the Shoutmon's version, but it is too much effort, and I'm not going to take this now.
About the story mode, for now it is kinda impossible to do, since I'm having neither a computer nor time.

(I use YSMENU 'cuz many games on dstt R4iSDHC cannot be saved, and there is a timebomb inside this card, so I don't want to downgrade before oct, 2024... That's why I used to focus more in this versin)

I don't see how it would wrong, I mean, you need a computer to complete the translation, we all wanna play the game translated very very much. And I thoroughly thoroughly enjoying the translation you've done so far.

I don't see how it would wrong, I mean, you need a computer to complete the translation, we all wanna play the game translated very very much. And I thoroughly thoroughly enjoying the translation you've done so far.
IDK how things IRL gonna be for me, if I'll have time or conditions to translate/hack, even if I possessed a computer.
Also, the other team said their translation is almost done, a fully translated one.
Maybe they release their translation soon, or maybe not.
I decided taking this project, and I took as long as I could, because THIS IS THE GAME I HAVE CHOOSEN TO PLAY ON MY NINTENDO DS. This amazing game is the best one IMO, it keeps the original Evolutionary Lines from Original Digimon series that you can also warp between. It does not have more Playable Digimons than Dawn/Dusk (Sunburst/Moonlight) but it has UlforceVeedramon, Ancient Digimon, LordKnightmon, Dynasmon and many other cool Digimon, also having a stronger level above Mega Form and Plant type, not Plant/Insect together. There are many other cool things inside Lost Evolution, you can see a better image of Digimon when you complete a plate recovering instead of those shitty in-battle sprites. In my regular version (non-YSMenu) you can also get Shoutmon, Shoutmon X3, MadLeomon, Persiamon, Golemon, Penguimon, because I removed and replaced those .Dots.
The translation for YSMenu became more complete than the regular one, because of many limitations with YSMenu, so I could not insert a larger file inside the ROM, if so, it changes the ROM header and code, and it becomes unplayble if YSMenu kernel is used, and I use this kernel.
At the recent state of the translation, I would say it is very playable, not perfect, but playable. The storyline, quests, attack descriptions and minor stuff need to be translated, but you guys can reach the end of the game with many fun with this rate. I know how fans gonna feel, it's not complete, some gonna never play this, other played this but will decide to take the other team's patch, it is understandable, and I do not judge.
I do not promise the fully-translation, but I can try to finish some minor thins, like attack descriptions, and even this I do not promise, lmao.
I played this game many times, when I hacked, after the hack with my 1st patch, after every upgrade and progress with it, and now I'm staying with the last one I realeased.
I hope you guys understand, I will not tell about real life here, all I can say is what I said, and thanks for every help you guys gave me to keep this project. Without you all, maybe I could not reach this translation rate. Again, sorry and thanks.

I want to say extra: there is OperationDecoced project which translates untranslated Digimon games from Japanese to English, but they take this seriously, so they take their time to translate. Last year at October 5th they said that translations are around 95% completed and soon they enter editing and testing phases. But remember they take their time with translations and how those looks and fit every aspect of the game. So sending PC for one of 2 same game translation projects feels a bit rich people talk, but I live in poor country, so. But cool to hear there is such a people out there.

I was just one of the many who was waiting for this game and I had to wait about 5 years and nothing... They also said many times the patch would be released in the end of each year and nothing... So, after some tries with the hacking tool, I could successfully learn and edit the ROM by myself, and I released the patch not only for me, but for others too.

I'm also going to stay with my patch, even IF they release their patch, maybe in the next 10 years, lmao. I like so much the version I used to create, it's kinda strange play Digimon games with 'Dukemon' instead of "Gallantmon" or 'Omnimon' instead of "Omegamon", and I care so much for this thing.

Like I said above, many Digimon fans will prefer their translation, and some will never play my version, and I do not judge.

I'm glad I could do something for the ones who don't like many years of waiting, I'm happy because I finally completed my NDS game list inside my R4.

What is new?
1 - Now, YsMenu and Regular version have the same translation rate (text rate, not image rate. For images, the regular version with Shoutmons still the best)
2 - The DigiDex of Shoutmons' version has been translated, missing Attacks added, missing "s" for Examon in Dex description in YsMenu has been fixed in Shoutmons' version
3 - Fixed text erros with Evolution Conditions
4 - Now you can only download the patch files on MEGA server, removed GDRIVE and 4SHARED for the old version of Shoutmons.
5 - Shoutmon Version is now the lastest translation, and the most complete translation if we compare text hacking, because due to YsMenu limitations, images cannot be translated for a valid ROM in this kernel.
6 - Both YsMenu and Shoutmons' (Regular version) have same text translation rate, you can obtain Shoutmon, Persiamon and Golemon in Shoutmons', but with YsMenu you get DOT, BlackWereGarurumon and BomberNanimon instead
7 - With this last update, I think there will be no more releases, at least if a bug is detected.

I thought the problem could be the rom, but I've tested several and still I still have the problem, I also thought it might be some patch error, but I tried using "normal" and shoutmon with and both continued with this problem. Anyone know how to solve? I already tried to apply the AP code, but it didn't work either or I don't know how to do the procedure correctly. Sorry, English is not my main language, I'm using google translator.

Maybe the problem is with TwilightMenu++... I tested those with R4 (wood kernel, dstt fake kernel, YsMenu kernel) and worked fine. I also tested with DeSmuMe (windows) and DraStic (android) and everything is OK.
The only possible problem you can get is when saving the file, if this problem happens (dstt fakes), you just have to find inside APFix folder inside TwilightMenu++ a .ips file (BLEJ) and patch your game using Lunar IPS (please note that this .ips patch is only available with 2020 TwilightMenu++ Before Valentine releases or older.

thanks, I tried it on Desmume and I finally managed to play without crashes.

I know you said you were done, but if I could at least make a request, to translate all the menus in game, like the farm etc. I understand the story would be a massive undertaking, but having all the menus in game would be a super huge help.

is this the translation of digimon xros wars red/blue?
I am a little lost about how to translate my roms, pls, someone can help me?
i don't know where's that file with MSG file, i don't know if you posted the translation of a part of the game or if it is the programs to translate it, i am not feeling good in playing in japanese, i like to see the stories of the games, get the emotions, see how to digivolve a digimon, but i am a little lost with that part, someone can help me pls?
