Ok so everything is completely working now. Ironically, packing all of the bloopair channel files into the PPSSPP forwarder u mentioned earlier completely fixed everything (which is weird, cause u said it wasn't working for u). Both of our Bloopair code/meta/contents were essentially identical so idk what the problem was, I'm thinking it had to do with some extra files in the "code" folder.

Thank you so much for the help bro, really appreciate it :yay:
My base is the Homebrew Launcher channel and it's an rpx channel and not a forwarder, when I was using the PPSSPP forwarder the Wii U froze when exiting a VC game, that's why I switched from a forwarder to an rpx channel, and it started to work fine, the only problem here is that I have to uninstall Bloopair and packing it again if there's an update.

No problem :)

I used ftpiiueverywhere running on mochacfw to play around with the files live. No “reinstallation” necessary. Highly recommend 👍

When an update comes around I’ll just replace the .rpx within the Wii u nand thru ftp should work the same right.

Really appreciate the help once again, ur a god

Hi! I paird a third party switch controller and almost everything works well! Except that the joystick L is inverted (up goes down and so on) and the X Y A B are also inverted (X and Y are A and B) if you need further more information I would like to you to improve this homebrew!

Bloopair version 0.4.0 is now released!
Changelog:
  • Nintendo Switch Controllers:
    • Use the extended reports, this fixes an issue with the button mapping of third-party controllers
    • Use the factory analog stick calibration
    • Support rumble for the Joy-Cons
    • Support battery levels
    • Support the Nintendo Switch Online N64 controllers
  • Support battery levels of DualShock 3 controllers
  • Bloopair now disconnects all connected controllers before patching IOS-PAD, this avoids an issue with "zombie controllers" being stuck in a controller slot

Bloopair version 0.4.1 is now released!
Changelog:
  • Fix the stick buttons being swapped on the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller.
That bug was introduced with v0.4.0.
Looks like I messed up when implementing the extended reports. So "Happy Updating" again, I guess :D

Does the new version work with the Power A Switch Pro controllers? Thank you for the disconnect fix! Now I don't need to pull the batteries out of my Wii remotes before using it.

I don't think they'll work. A lot of the third party switch controllers don't have a proper vendor and product id.
I might be able to support them in the future, but that will require further adjustments.

You actually added support for it for one of the GitHub issues. Many (mine included) worked the same as normal pro controllers but with different product and vendor ID's (both zero)

The problem is if Bloopair is just configured to recognize 0000/0000 as a PowerA controller, what happens when someone else comes along with a different controller that also has 0000/0000? It's not certain (or even likely) that all controllers with that ID combo behave the same, so Bloopair needs to use something else to identify the controllers reliably.

Like hid to vpad without needing a network client. I can now connect my ps4 controller wirelessly without having to use a mayflash adapter or network client.
