Hi there
I try use many homebrew or installer move something like cheat.txt file from USB via charging port to switch 's SD card(emu nand). but the system just won't let me do that

So I must take out sd card from switch everytime use a laptop or android phone place all the file to this SD card then push back to switch....

Install game can be done when use USB via charging port ... You put nsp nsz on USB root.

Then install them to SD card emu nand.

But you can't copy any other file like cheat.txt or mp4/mp3 etc from USB to switch's SD card?

This is hassle.
Looking for help.

you could always connect the switch as a MTP device to file transfer from PC to switch

https://github.com/retronx-team/mtp-server-nx

DBI also had it built in. There are many options, suprised you haven't ran into any of them.
I understand you

But my plan is you put all the nsp /nsz /cheat txt file /60 fps mod file etc.. everything you need to a USB flash drive root

You can only install nsp nsz file via switch' s charging port

The cheat txt file and 60 mod file you can not move them

What if we temp don't have a PC or android phone that can read USB flash drive?

Just stuck in there?

Just stuck in there forever?

You can't put or move file in emu nand SD card without a PC or android phone?

you can install nsp's that are also already on the SD card itself. You can also do a network install and do it over wifi. It isn't a hard requirement to use the USB-C port.

How did you even have the files on the USB drive without a PC or android phone. If you just sent it directly to the switch via FTP/MTP then you would never run into a situation where you need a USB drive at all. You're asking for a very niche function that realistically can be worked around already. How did you write the cheat files/60fps mods int he first place. Instead of sending it to the flash drive, send it tot he switch where it can use it...

Sorry for bump ... now I understand I can set android ftp server

But do this work when use Android hotspot? I got many android tablet
They do not need a Sim card for create hotspot .... so there's no internet access at all

This way you won't get banned.
This way I don't need take out SD card from switch console everytime

I mean you set switch console connect to your android hotspot
Then install game via hotspot from your android tablet's 512 gb SD card root nsp nsz?
I put nsz nsp on android phone SD card root

Is it going to work well?
Sx os 10-11.0

One thing that bother me when we use ftp on switch install game

First it will copy entire nsp nsz to switch's sd card or not?

I want directly install game via hotspot ... not ftp copy nsp nsz to switch first...

Thanks you guys again...

Just use tinfoil. Enable mtp in the options. Plug switch in and it pops up with a bunch of folders. You can install by dropping nsp files in the install folder to install. You can access the sd, the internal nand the firmware and other stuff. Easy as hell

OK if I enable android tablet mtp and use otg cable connect this tablet to switch (also use mtp homebrew)

Can switch read everything on my tablet ' s SD card?!

This is magic if it do work

I mean android tablet connect with switch via "type-c micro sd etc" all in one otg cable...

I use this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33039671929.html

Its the other way around. It puts the switch in Mtp mode. Switch might be seen by your tablet. Switch won't see anything.
Works great on pc.

I use andftp from google play made tablet success connect with switch

However switch always disable WiFi because tablet hotspot got no internet access at all

You will able to move some file from android tablet ftp server to switch's sd card they are under 20 mb

Mostly like nro file etc... They take 20 seconds

But for 1-20 GB nsp nsz switch always disabled WiFi
You can't move these from tablet to switch with 2.5mb/s

Also all the mtp nro app when I open them... switch show me these app needs/ waiting for internet

So mtp won't work

How I force switch keep the internet on
If I use no internet access hotspot from android tablet?

MTP uses a usb connection. Not WiFi. And its for a PC typically. On your own for a tablet.

I don't want to make assumptions. So you're running which Homebrew? Using an OTG cable I assume? What are you using on your phone in for mtp? Someone else asked me this recently I'm going to relay it to him. I just plug it into my PC and it works fine. All the different Mtp Homebrew justworks. Which one is yours? What's the average transfer speed?

No OTG. Plain type-c to type-c cable. No special soft on phone. Just system dialog for file copy. Speed 30-40 mb/sec depends SD card or nand.
