But the GBA translation is using the exact SAME scripts and translation from the DS version, there's literally no difference between them aside from technical stuff -_-
I don't see how this is really a bad thing. It just lets you use that perfectly good official localization on the original GBA. In addition to being a fun novelty, it's also easier to emulate, especially without needing 2 screens being shoved onto 1.

The official localization is also pretty good in general. Retranslating everything would be rather pointless.

Yeah! That's what I'm saying here! I really don't get how this translation would be terrific, if it's using the same translation from the DS version

I expected OTG to go with the official spanish localization (like a group called TraduSquare did with the HD Trilogy), but went too "purist" for my tastes. If a localization is too good, why discarding it like that?

I'll stick to the english version, then. :/

What does that have to do with this thread or the topic at hand? My translation doesn't have anything to do with this thread, also, I did clarify multiple times that I wouldn't be just porting the Official Spanish translation since it's terrible and poorly translated.

If you got something to say about it, then tell me personally or through the official thread, not here, and if you don't like it because it's too "purist" for your refined tastes, then go and play the Spanish DS version, since you seem to praise it so highly above everything.

That the same attitude I found in a guy, which having all the resources to give the SNES port of something, to go in a completely opposite direction. And coming with a "if you like X version so much, why you don't play that instead?" quote said A LOT of him, as well of you.

I find the Spanish TL a "So bad it's good" case. Telling the same thing in your thread will have the same result: DEAF EARS from you as responses.

You can find me easily in ¡PROTESTO! Discord. I won't go anywhere (yet).

And that's it for today. I'm sorry for putting this on this thread, Mr. h3rmit. I hope with all my hopes you can finish the Trilogy at you preferred pace.

PS: My first version played was the Wii (a rented one) version, not the DS, as someone "not-So-Great" implies.

You're missing the entire point, it not really about my translation, it's about h3rmit's translation and the DS English localization, yet you bring my translation to the topic for absolutely no reason just because it turns out.

And I don't want to sound like a broken record, but I have stated MULTIPLE times that my translation is not a port of the DS Spanish version, but rather a whole new translation, it's not a thing of going in "the opposite direction", it's just another way of playing the game in another console, that's all.

That's the reason why I said "if you don't like it, then play the DS version" because I've said it over and over again that my version is different, but for some reason, you still miss the point entirely, it's not about me not liking critisim, rather it's a critisim that's just dumb, since I've putted everywhere that "if you're looking for a port of the DS version, then go away" and you haven't taken the time to actually read those disclaimers, then what the hell are you complaining about? If you already knew what you were going in, why still complain about it? Just don't play it and that's it, problem solved.

I really don't see a need to make such a fuzz out of something that didn't even have any relation to the original topic to begin with, seriously, what the hell?

And now you're just being a jerk for no reason whatsoever, way to prove that your opinion is the right one and I'm wrong... :glare:

Edit: I talked things privately with RealGaea, and we got to end up in good terms, so everything is fine now 👍🏻

Big greetings from Russia! I want to express my great gratitude to you for this hard work. Initially I wanted to find a Russian translation, but no one does it(
It cost me a lot of effort to find you, considering that the game is not called ACE ATTORNEY, but now I have 1 and 3 parts in English!
Actually, these games are on my Switch in Russian, but I really wanted to play the GBA version
