A little confused here. I'm considering buying a Switch with the serial number starting with XAW100761. The table says anything above XAW10075 is potentially patched, but ismyswitchpatched says that serial is definitely unpatched. Can I buy with certainty that it's unpatched?

It's a 50/50 chance. Buy it and send a payload to make sure it is unpatched. Either, you have luck, or not.

That’s actually a bit wired, in my experience ismyswitchpatched was always the more pessimistic tool. What I mean is that serial numbers that are in this thread potentially unpatched is reported as patched by ismyswitchpatched. (Probably to avoid confusion, but that’s a guess)

My Switch was in the Orange Region and is unpatched.
Serial: XAW10080680993
Serial on device matches serial on box: Yes
Region: U.S.
Firmware: 13.0.0
Color option: Grey
Store: Ebay
Was a bundle (if yes, which): Only the contents of the original box
Purchase date: 10/05/21
Fusée Gelée works: Yes

Just try and inject a payload. You can get one called test.bin.

If it works your screen will say test. But it won't harm your switch it just may won't work.

XAJ9 definitely exists, recently had my vulnerable XAJ40002 switch refurbished and it returned as a XAJ95000 console, tried to enter RCM but it fails with a black screen on the switch, TegraRcmGUI claims to have successfully injected the payload but it smashed the stack with a 0x0000 byte SETUP request, a "reliable indicator that your Switch is patched".
