Support GBAtemp and browse ad-free & more!

We have managed to achieve some pretty incredible things in the last month - we have successfully rebuilt the site from the ground-up on the latest forum software and have moved to an ultra powerful server to make the site faster and more responsive than ever! Behind the scenes, we are always looking for ways to improve our user experience and bring fresh & exciting content and features to the temp.

However, in order to make these things happen and to be able to keep providing you with fresh editorial content and to conserve our freedom as an independent community, free from the constraints of a parent media conglomerate; we need your help.

Previously we launched a campaign on Patreon to help support us but despite a positive response, it never really took off and we found being shackled behind Patreon's restrictions and terms too limiting.

That's why we are today launching our built-in user upgrades system!

Please visit our Account Upgrades page below for further information or feel free to ask any questions below.

Whether you choose to contribute or not, thank you all for your continued support and being members of the GBAtemp community!

I tried to pay with my XP, just to test it, and interestingly it let me purchase the Ad-free option for 5k XP, without me having 5K XP.

Is this supposed to happen? I'm now in negative 4k XP lol

EDIT: my XP was just reset back to 0. I'm guessing this wasn't supposed to happen haha
:rofl2: Cheeky git!

No that was an oversight by us and should no longer be possible. I will have to revert your account I hope you understand

Unfortunately I've had to remove this post from the frontpage while the payment problems are resolved.

Big hugs to everyone that tried.

UPDATE: Stripe should now be working, Paypal seems dependant on individual users luck?

The possibility to pay with XP is a really neat idea! But kinda sucks for XP noobs like me. 17½ year old account, have enough XP for 1 month ad-free 😂 haha!
Just be like me and be the best catboy. People just xp at me for some reasons

I like electronics that use detachable cables, that way if the cable breaks you can just swap in a new one instead of replacing the whole unit

i dont know why tv manufactures put the hdmi ports in dumb locations so the cables have to stick out, and then down, putting strain on the ports. Instead of having the ports along the bottom edge of the tv facing downwards.
