Hi folks,

I'm not even sure how to lay down my problem.

I stepped and broke my Luma New 2DS XL, thankfully I got another one.

When I booted up the new one containing an SD Card, it would give me an error. I proceeded to remove the SD card from the dead one and put it in the back up one, and it boots just fine but into an empty home screen as compared to the one that I was using.. I believe I must have modded them both at the same time with 1 SD card.

I dont mind losing everything but I dont wanna delete crucial stuff from the SD. How should I proceed? Im a bit at a loss and Im not even sure if you're going to understand what I just asked.

Willing to answer any question to clarify the situation.

Tl;Dr - New 2DS XL broke, a second New 2DS boots up into Luma (i believe) with the same SD card. How to make the swap without bricking?

Unfortunately at the time of modding both units i backed up both nands on a hard drive that is no longer in existence.

The same SD boots both units by the looks of it though. I'd be happy enough to delete everything on the SD as long as it lets the current unit boot up and reinstall all the essentials. Would that be possible?
