Putting aside all the fun everyone are having teasing you about this, I would also like to say I feel a lot of sympathy for what happened to you. I had a similar experience with my pokemon blue cartridge as a kid, but you had 3 entire pokedexes! (minus some unimportant event). I can't begin to imagine just how much time you must have spent accomplishing that.

I just gave her an angry look and kept walking. She knows what she did.

I lost my Pokedex in Pokemon Silver and Gold for Gameboy Color because the batteries of the games died years ago. I couldn't complete the Pokedex in third gen because it was impossible without cheating and since Fouth Gen I just cheat to complete the Pokedex.

I think many can relate with that. I had completely forgotten I lost my Gold save the same way (didn't care about it as much as Blue, but still sad). The RTC was a neat idea but really dried the battery... and definitely sad that later generations made unobtainium-type pokemon the standard.
