Almost forgot to mention this: I am very new to modding consoles before modding my Wii I had no clue what I was doing, I think I did everything right, if not I have no problem re-modding it if it comes down to that.

I know there's probably 100's of thousands of posts about the same thing but I have no idea what the problem is, I've seen posts saying to run SysCheck (Which I have and have to type out because I can't find a link for it and cant find the file for it on my SD card), I have the IOS249 port selected for my games, I also have switched USB's and have tested the game on Dolphin Emulator and it runs fine.

SysCheck:

You are missing IOS 251, you can install it just follow the steps here, but skip the others ios 249 & 250 since you already have them in. For your problem, are you using a wad channel on the Wii to launch USBLoaderGX? Also you need to have the USBLoaderGX files in the apps folder on the SD card, in order for it to work. If you don't have those files, just download the latest release & paste the files as instructed, and test again.

I have USBLoaderGX in the apps folder in my SD card I will follow those steps you linked for IOS251 and see if that will work

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

So when I open up d2x cIOS Installer, when I go to "SETTINGS" under the "CIOS SETTINGS" tab, I don't have the option for "<v10 beta52 d2x-v10-beta52>" under "Select cIOS"

Did you use the d2x files from the guide? The files for v10 are included.

It could be an incompatible hard drive. What kind of drive are you using?

You can try d2x with base IOS58 (or 38, etc), as these will sometimes work with less compatible drives. You can also try formatting the hdd as wbfs instead of fat32, as this improves hdd compatibility at the expense of the other benefits of fat32.

Edit: you can try a bunch of alternate cios's to see if one 'strikes oil' with your hdd. You can grab a number of these in WAD form without having to run a dozen different cios installers from modmii classic's download page 4 (or advanced downloads page if you want to change the slot # or something)

Do you see the USBLoaderGX screen when it says initializing usb just when you launch it?

Yeah I saw it, but I guess I also totally just didn't get IOS251 from d2x so I'm trying to figure out how to get it because I've reinstalled it and I don't see any of the v10 stuff, at this point im thinking it would be easier just to factory reset my Wii and then remod it

You used the homebrew d2x cIOS Installer provided in the link, and it didn't install IOS251?

Hey you can try launch it without your usb, if that's what causing the problem, put a Wii game on the SD card then test if it boots it.
Also launch USBLoaderGX from the Homebrew Launcher instead of using a wad channel.

So basically what happened was when I was installing d2x I installed IOS249, IOS250 and just never installed IOS251. So when I tried to reinstall d2x it won't load the v10 files to install IOS251\

When I go to d2x for "Select cIOS" I only have 3 options which are: "d2x v6", "d2x v5", and "d2x v4". I don't have the one I need to install IOS251 and everytime I reinstall d2x they don't appear anywhere and I have no idea what to do

Use modmii

Edit: or grab a newer version of the wii d2x installer

Figured it would just be easier to factory reset my Wii, but now when I go to install BootMii it says it I don't have a SD card plugged in, however I do, I also have write protect off and now I really don't know the problem, my Wii detects the SD card just not installing BootMii

So u are able to launch the hackmii installer, but can't install bootmii because it says an SD card is missing? How are you launching the hackmii installer, via which exploit?

Should I bother trying to help you and give advice? Or will you unilaterally figure some other wild idea is better and proceed in another direction... again?

I'm using Letter Bomb

So your sd card is compatible with letterbomb to launch the hackmii installer, but not with the hackmii installer itself. Try a non-sdhc card if u have it, if not, try the smallest sd card you have access to (at least 1gb though if u want to also make a nand backup)

Edit: also double check the format of your sd card
