Hello,

i want to buy a New Nintendo 3DS XL and on this would be a cfw with luma installed.

Now i have an old 3ds without any cfw or so.

I want to transfer my Nintendo account to the new one so i can download my bought games and so.

Can i do this without a problem with the normal transfer set up?

What happens if there is a nintendo account logged in on the new one and i dont have the passwort?

I would really like to buy it because it is in a good condition.

I hope my question is clear and you can help me.

I think this is what I would do... Buy the system. Remove CFW (https://3ds.hacks.guide/uninstall-cfw.html), transfer your account, rehack the 3ds (https://3ds.hacks.guide/).
Why? What is the point of deleting the custom firmware?

okay thank you

As far as I know "System Transfer" application will not even start the process when the target machine has a NNID connected (try it and/or read the official manual). You might have to remove the NNID from the new console first.
B9S survives System Transfer as well as "Format System Memory" (which just throws away the current profile). The visible things on the Home Menu will be missing.
https://3ds.hacks.guide/restoring-updating-cfw
followed by
https://3ds.hacks.guide/finalizing-setup
should work.

After the transfer everything will be MOVED to the new device and the old device will execute "Format System Memory".

Good luck and have fun!

I don't see the point even if they transfer the account for you, when you use it for the first time it will still asks you for the password for signing in, only if the NNID was removed from the source 3ds that when they will allow you a remote transfer. No benefit here, since if you don't have your password you don't have your password.

I have my password.
I meant that i didnt have the password from the account on the new one, but since there is no account on it, this is not a problem
