I would've forgotten to uninstall my custom theme if it wasn't for this application, but that warning also pops up when updating cheats
imho it should only warn you after downloading a firmware (provided a custom theme is installed ofc)
It definitely shouldn't pop up for cheats, Thanks for letting me know, I'll peep as to why it does

1 thing that could make it better (which would kinda be overkill) is if daybreak was implemented into it
I submitted a PR to ScriresM so I could launch daybreak with a specified path from my (or any) homebrew but it seems he doesn't want to incorporate it. I'm not willing to take the responsability for firmware updates, even though with Micheal's work it would pretty straight forward

@linuxares In other news, is there someone I could contact to get a cloudfare user agent token for gbatemp? My script to get the cheat archive is now blocked by cloudfare and it doesn't seem like there is any way to bypass it

Hi! Could this also support Atmosphere users on SXPro dongle?
We can only boot (directly) CFW using a custom boot.dat file by ELY3M:
https://github.com/ELY3M/sx-custom-boot.dat-maker

This should update along with CFW updater.
Seems like the more sensible way would be to chainload, so you would just have one static boot.dat that would never need updating, and it would chainload the standard fusee-primary.bin from a standard path.

Can probably find an existing chainload payload online somewhere, otherwise it wouldn't be hard for someone to make one.

What hippie dave said is the most sensible solution. You could even use the RCM payload aio-switch-updater uses for that purpose. You could also use tegraexplorer probably

So I have found myself borking my Switch by using the this AIO, and I think it's because of the order I'm doing things in. I essentially have to delete most everything and do a manual install just to get it working again. So let me ask this...

When on emuMMC, if I want to update the official firmware, the Atmosphere version, and the bootloader - in what order should I do this from the AIO menu?

In case it's needed: I'm using hekate (hekate_ctcaer_<version>.zip) and Atmosphere (atmosphere-<version>-master-<version>+hbl-<version>+hbmenu-<version>.zip).

You gotta update your CFW before you update your firmware. So Atmosphere + Hekate (+ sigpatches) and then FW. Just drag and drop a new atmosphere (and Hekate) on your SD card and provided you don't have theme installed, it should work fine.

I do respect your work and involvement in this homebrew. I‘ve used it with success, “just for a try”.But can’t get rid of this “habit “, do it all by myself, getting the sources, and do install via PC when “all is ready “.

Sorry everyone for the dumb question I have here...

How come people are updating their system firmware? I only update the CFW and am running on 6.0.1 for my system. Am I missing something? Or is keeping the system firmware up to date allow for online play which I never do? Can someone tell me the pros and cons to each?

Thanks much.

The only reason you'd update your system firmware is if a new recent game or a game update tells you that you have to update before you can play.

Otherwise, you don't have to update if you don't want to.

Sometimes a firmware update also updates the cartridge slot firmware, and my emunand cfw starts crashing if I launch it with a physical game in the slot, and I use sysnand a lot so I need it to be up to date. That's when I find updating the Emunand is necessary. And this app is godsent to do it quickly.

Hey. Fussee sigpathes are needed for run some installed NSPs, right? What does hekate sigpatches do?
fusee sig patches and hekate sig patches both do the same thing, both allow the installation and playing of backups and homebrew nsp's, xci, nsz, etc.
The only difference between the 2 is, they are setup for their respective booting methods of booting atmosphere

Oh, so it's all about how I've booted? No harm to have both, right? Now with tinfoil not being fascistic about it.
