Hi there,

So after finishing my three-star run for Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon on my CFW 3DS, I decided to use Checkpoint and Rosalina Menu to obtain and activate cheats to make my solo ScareScraper grinding a bit more comfortable.

The first thing I noticed is that not all of the games I've installed show up in Checkpoint. For example, while Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon shows up, Luigi's Mansion (the remake of the original GC title) does not. I refreshed my list a couple of times to be sure, but the results were the same. Does anyone know why Checkpoint won't show all games and how I can get the missing games to show up?

Secondly, while I did obtain some cheats, in this case for Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, I couldn't get them to work. I activated them through Rosalina Menu, but nothing happens. I was under the impression that if I do this in-game, the cheat should be activated as soon as I exit Rosalina Menu. What's more, the text of some cheats actually turn red when I select and stay so even if I unselect them. Does anyone know what's going on here?

press and hold B while in checkpoint to reload and refresh the games list. Aswell, the codes may or may not work, depending on a few things. if it dont, then you may want to look elsewhere to get codes.
Holding B in Checkpoint is how I refreshed my list and that didn't load any missing games.

I'll see if I can find other cheat codes, although I'd expect Checkpoint's Sharkive bundle to work as advertised for most part. I've heard of people claiming that 3DS cheats don't work even though someone else would cclaim the contrary IIRC.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

If you have a lot of games installed, sometimes it takes a long time to load them all. Have you tried just waiting?
I did notice that. At first I did have to wait long, but then there's a moment where the loaded games are sorted instead of displayed in the order they are loaded. I assumed that Checkpoint is done loading at this point, because Checkpoint didn't load any more games into the list after that point.

Have you launched Luigi's Mansion and have a save in it? Checkpoint only see games that you've already played.
I hadn't launched the game yet, no. I just did and created a save and it now shows up in Checkpoint. Thanks!

Now I just gotta figure out why some cheats are colored red upon selecting them in Rosalina Menu. That, and why Checkpoint/Sharkive's Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon cheats don't seem to me work during ScareScraper/Thrill Tower.

I have no experience with cheats, someone perhaps can help you there.

Sorry to revive a dead thread from nearly a full year ago, but the thing with red-colored codes in Rosalina is for when the codes are detected as broken. Ie: they attempt to manipulate an invalid address, the issue usually stemming from game update versions changing some addresses. This helps you realize just to not activate those cheats anymore.

I see. That's good to know!

The way I’ve been able to fix this issue is by going into FBI, SD then 3ds, then into Checkpoint, then as sketching as it sounds delete the file called titles.sha, and after reload your checkpoint and everything shall load including the game you were searching you, I use this method when my cheats crash too often and new save files won’t load, this’ll fix the issue :) hope this works even if it’s a fe years later

Still works, had the issue on a new-to-me JP LL playing language/region-changed Dark Moon. Thank you!
