Hey peep, how you doing guys ?

Guys I'm really screwed up, I used Brain Age to make my Haxchi icon and unlocking my WiiU.

a year after unlocking the console I carelessly downloaded and installed Brain Age, soon afterwards my Haxchi icon disappeared (it turned into Brain Age icon, I understood that some minutes later)

I uninstalled Brain Age just after that, Haxchi icon returned but it didn't work anymore

I uninstalled Haxchi from memory too, thinking I would download again from eShop and everything would be OK.

Now my console downloads Brain Age from eShop but when it is installing that . . . BOOM . . . Error 105-3687

I don't know what to do, have you guys experienced that (terrible) situation.

Thanks in advance guys.

For whoever reading that (whatever day, month, year it's for you ) know I went a few steps further.

Well, I was able to access WiiU NAND via Filezilla (and FTPiiU Everywhere in WiiU)

I had dumped NAND .tiks with tik2SD program

I could verify (in keys.txt file) that Brain Age (0005000010179B00) was in

storage_slc/rights/ticket/apps/0004/00000003.tik

BUT Brain Age was double in the list, matching

0005000010179b00 cdee4e76566646885be2d628a393c31d (0004/00000003.tik@0x0)
0005000010179b00 cdee4e76566646885be2d628a393c31d (0004/00000003.tik@0x350)

Well I deleted both and finished the job.

Returning to eShop then I could download Brain Age successfully (:toot:), cause I used to get Error 105-3687 when trying to install it from eShop.

Well now that I have Brain Age I'm gonna do exactly like I did when I unlocked WiiU the first time, OK

I go to u.wiidb.de,
go to HAXX link,
the homebrew opens up,
I select the icon ACTUALIZAR HAXCHI 4.0 (like I did in the first time I unlocked WiiU)

AND

He doens't recognize I have Brain Age to use it to make the Haxchi shortcut

Don't know what to do again :nayps3:

one of those was likely a fake ticket. it was probably the one at offset 0x0, since it failed. I think you can put the fake ticket after the real ticket, and it will download, or you can delete it. you probably shouldn't have deleted the whole ticket bucket though, because other games/content may have been in there. for example, breath of the wild's ticket is in the same ticket bucket as crunchy roll's iirc.

In the keys.txt file I saw

0005000010179b00 cdee4e76566646885be2d628a393c31d (0004/00000003.tik@0x0)
0005000010179b00 cdee4e76566646885be2d628a393c31d (0004/00000003.tik@0x350)

When accessing storage_slc/rights/ticket/apps/0004/ in FileZilla I only see

00000003.tik

that is the file I deleted

I even downloaded it to try open it up, I tried open it with KWrite (a text editor from KDE - Linux) but it had unintelligible characters, I don't know how to edit or splice a .tik file

Well the fact is that after that I could download Brain Age again from eShop

But now the ACTUALIZAR HAXCHI 4.0 in homebrew doesn't recognize I have Brain Age to make the Haxchi shortcut

The problem of getting Error 105-3687 was solved

But cant use Brain Age to make the hack

yes, the .tik files in the slc partition are sometimes referred to as ticket buckets, because they contain tickets for several games/content usually. see if that ticket is mentioned anywhere else in the txt file you got with tik2sd. if not, then it was okay to delete the file. however, if another game or content was in there, I don't think the content will run now. I've seen ticket buckets have as many as 5 tickets inside. I'm not sure if they can have more or not.

I made the dump of current tiks some minutes ago

As I was able to download Brain Age from eShop again now in keys.txt file I can see Brain Age, it matches

0005000010179b00 cdee4e76566646885be2d628a393c31d (0004/00000003.tik@0x0)

see if you have any other games that use the same ticket. if not, then it's fine to have deleted it entirely.
Yesterday I made the search for Brain Age Title ID ( 0005000010179B00 ) in keys.txt file

it only matched
0005000010179b00 cdee4e76566646885be2d628a393c31d (0004/00000003.tik@0x0)
0005000010179b00 cdee4e76566646885be2d628a393c31d (0004/00000003.tik@0x350)

Thus the .tik I deleted in storage_slc/rights/ticket/apps/0004 was the 00000003.tik

After that as I already said I could download Brain Age Again

After the installation of Brain Age from eShop I have

0005000010179b00 cdee4e76566646885be2d628a393c31d (0004/00000003.tik@0x0)

Yeah, I searched for 0004/00000003.tik and it only corresponds to Brain Age title ( 0005000010179B00 )

if you mean the haxchi installer, then I think brain age has to be on the mlc partition (internal storage), so copy or move it to there, then turn off the system, unplug the usb hdd or flash drive you may be using, start the system up, and try again. I assume it's on an hdd or usb device of some sort.

Bro I did what you recommended and it worked like a charm

The Brain Age I donwloaded from eShop yesterday was in my External HD, I moved it up to to internal storage, went to ACTUALIZAR HAXCHI 4.0 and it finally recognized I had Brain Age to create Haxchi shortcut.

Thanks a lot !

by the way, what is the difference between slc and mlc partitions ?

btw, you can't really read tickets on the pc. we don't have enough information, so you have to lump them into a hex editor. all tickets start with 00 01 00 04 iirc, and they're always 696 or 848 bytes. tik2sd will tell you the offset, so you can delete the fake ticket. most fake tickets will say DISEASED ISABELLA in hex over and over again, but I've learned a while ago that not all fake tickets use this. most people should have that though as it's what's used with wii u usb helper and possibly funkii u.

Hi @Phill_kamus_BR, I have run into the exact same problem you describe, but I didn't understand your solution. How am I supposed to access the Wii U NAND, so I can delete the fake ticket, if I don't have a working haxchi anymore, and am unable to install it?

Hi guys, so here is what I was able to do so far:

- I've entered the homebrew menu through the loadiine website
- I have run the tik2sd app to dump my tickets, but I imagine that the file will the same you listed here, since our problems are exactly the same:
In the keys.txt file I saw

0005000010179b00 cdee4e76566646885be2d628a393c31d (0004/00000003.tik@0x0)
0005000010179b00 cdee4e76566646885be2d628a393c31d (0004/00000003.tik@0x350)

When accessing storage_slc/rights/ticket/apps/0004/ in FileZilla I only see

00000003.tik

that is the file I deleted
- I extracted FTPiiU Everywhere into my SD and was able to run it
- I installed FileZilla in my PC and was able to connect to the IP Address FTPiiU gave me.

- Now the new problem I encountered, when trying to access the folder above to delete "00000003.tik" I get the message "Failed to retrieve directory listing"

When doing further research on this forum, I found a topic about this problem, and people said about running something called CBHC and Mocha, and that there are different versions of FTUiiU Everywhere for each of those, but I didn't understand what that is or what I have to do now.

Can someone explain it to me?

there's an ftpii u everywhere for cbhc/haxchi and one for mocha. it depends on which one you're running when you try to use ftpii u everywhere. you can get either from the homebrew store.

hey guy how you doing bro

I came across this problem some weeks ago but fortunately was able to solve it.

Yeah I had the same 'can't read, or can't load the directory listing' too

All I had to do was run the haxchi (in my case my haxchi is IOSUHAX) ,

haxchi will unlock and grant access to your protected files, the same way it allows you to run installed games

I runned my haxchi so I returned to my PC, opened filezila and filezila could read the folder it was previously unable to read

I'm brasilian too but I think we cannot talk in portuguese here

If you still undergo any problems in the process you can reach out to me in the private messages here in GBATEMP
