I need help! Alright so I used this tutorial() and did the exact process to mod my wii and it’s worked for me for many months. Now all of a sudden. My wii will show a green light when I turn it on but it won’t be displaying anything on the tv. It’s just a black screen. The wii remotes won’t even connect as well. I tried to sync controllers and I tried “resetting the ac adapter” by unplugging and leaving it for a couple of minutes. I suspect this is a brick and I was wondering how I could restore my wii to the backup I made using BootMii so I held the reset button while turning it on in attempts to boot into priiloader but it still seemed to show the black screen.I don’t believe it’s anything hardware related because i can turn on the wii with the wii remote. I appreciate any suggestions or answers!

That is odd, are you 100% sure nothing is wrong with your output cables? if you are using something like a cheap wii2hdmi adaptor then it probably broke.

Also, next time I wouldn't recommend using an outdated video guide, use ModMii instead: https://modmii.github.io/

Thanks for responding. I am very sure there is nothing wrong with my output cables because they have been working fine for me ever since I’ve used them. I use the default AV cables so no HDMI accessories or anything like that. I know the tv is detecting the cables and treating like a source because I don’t get a “no signal”. It’s just a black screen instead.

yeah I realized this too late. I appreciate the tip and I will definitely go for that instead next time.

Well assuming you have BootMii installed as IOS and can't access Priiloader, then yeah that's an issue, since in order to get into BootMii to restore your NAND, you'd have to launch it from Priiloader. I also highly doubt that it was due to broken output cables, considering that you said the Wii Remotes weren't connecting. I wish I could say exactly what happened but honestly I'm not that deep when it comes to my Wii homebrew knowledge lol.

And like Vilagamer said, it's never a good idea to follow video guides. I've personally used wii.guide, it's simple, straight forward, and up to date.
