Hey guys. I had no luck with the 2DS, but that's not what I wanted to talk about at this moment in time. I have a 3DS (the new model, specifically,) loaded with CFW. (Luma3DS.) There are some games out there that make me sad to see that have never been ported to the 3DS, either through official or unofficial/independent means. These games include Super Mario Sunshine, Sonic Heroes (GC version), Sonic Adventure (DC version), and Daytona USA (arcade version.) I just want to ask this: how would I go about compiling the games so that they can run natively on the 3DS hardware? I'd love to see how!

It's never going to happen

XD you're crushing my hopes dude
not really hope crushing, unless the devs themselves legally put it on github with their own license, it's going to be illegal and DMCA'd immediately, even if it's a clean room RE it'll probably be DMCAd like RE3

Decompiling an entire game is a serious undertaking and sometimes involves several members working on the project. Actually modifying the code to run on a platform it was never officially released on is another story entirely and often outside the scope of most decompilations. Also keep in mind that the 3DS is a decade-old handheld and rather underpowered to boot, with many homebrew ports struggling to varying degrees on O3DS models.

If you want to attempt a decompilation, try looking into tools like IDA Pro or Ghidra. While it does look like there are a handful of GameCube decomps out there, they also seem to be pretty early on.

With this said, you're probably better off just playing these games in Dolphin. 3DS ports of these games are a neat thought to entertain, but also a thought that's currently more trouble than its worth.

Depends on what game you're reverse engineering. Mario 64 was decompiled yet Nintendo hasn't done anything about it, and you'd expect Nintendo of all companies to take that down in an instant. You also have the Sonic 1/2 rereleases, Doom 64, the PC-98 Touhou games, all which have decompilation projects (completed or not) yet none of those have been DMCA'd.

UNLESS someone hacked Nintondo's server and release the source code on darknet, it actually happened few months ago: some crackers was able to steal Nintond's Wii, N64 DS' etc source codes and released online.

Didn't that one have a version on sega x32 or CD?
If there is one, it can be ran on picodrive (although probably badly)
That's Virtua Racing, which actually is playable via Picodrive at full speed (Deluxe, at least). Daytona USA was released on the Saturn, though, which probably won't be emulated on the 3DS anytime soon (and even then, the initial Saturn port wasn't the best).
