So, just about a month ago, I just got a new switch lite for Christmas, and I'm interested in jailbroken it. But however, I'm a little bit worried as well. You see, the switch is very different. Unlike the Wii/WiiU, getting your Switch/Switch Lite jailbroken, is a bit tad to do. (Even for a beginner) Because Nintendo is very strict when it comes to doing those things like this, especially for users who go online. Because if they found out your Switch is hacked, then they'll ban you from using it online. (i.e. You can still play your games, but you won't get any online abilities, due to it being linked to a Nintendo Account) And to be honest, I don't want that to happen on my Switch. (Unless if I find a way to avoid, which I'll doubt that happens) And also, whenever I tried to find a method on how to jailbreak a switch, It always has something to do with modchips. (You know, when you had to teardown your console, as well as sodering it to make it work.) And to be honest, I'm terrible when it comes to doing those types of things. Because I'll damage my Switch even further if I do. So all I'm saying is there anyway to jailbreak a Switch (i.e. OG Switch/Switch V2/Switch Lite), without getting a banned from Nintendo, as well without the uses of modchips? Please let me know in a few weeks. Thanks!

No, you need a modchip to be able to jailbreak the Lite version.
For installing the modchip from Xecuter you need next level soldering skills.
Without the modchip there is no way yet to run the Homebrew menu.
I won't bet on someone finding an ugly flaw in the system as security is pretty well designed.
And going only with a hacked Switch will most likely result in a lifetime ban from Nintendo.

The answer is no to both of your questions. Patched and Mariko consoles require a modchip to be hacked and while you can hack an unpatched device without a modchip, you risk a ban once you hack it. If you truly value online functionality, then you might as well not hack it especially since you have a Lite which may never get a modchip-less exploit. If you want to hack a Switch without a modchip, then you should find an unpatched unit.

I have 10 bucks on the table.

There are no bans with dual boot setups + exosphere or equivalent. This is true for all versions of the Switch motherboards.
