GTA3 works fine, GTAVC instantly crashes as soon as I open it

any ideas?

GTA3 was released before DMCA struck. GTA VC was released from not complete decompilation before DMCA struck.

As I said - VC was not officially released. Everything you find is some clunky rewrite of gt3-nx to match gtvc uncomplished code. All releases based on those are not good, they in best case have serious memory leaks.

Well, they are not as you can read it article. Fork was restored because of filling counter notice. Each fork would need to fill the same counter notice to be unlocked, it seems.

It could be done, yes, but without the counter claims being done, they risk another false DMCA.
I say it's better to counterclaim the currently DMCA'd repositories, all of them, that would restore the code, and people that have been working on it despite the DMCA could simpky push merges into their main forks and continue like normal.

There been any updates on this as of late regarding the VC port? I see the sole fork that's up for PC, but not sure if Graber has put anything out anywhere or something
