We haven't done anything in particular towards tracking, ourselves, however there are a few external elements linked to the site :
1) Google analytics: to analyze traffic, count visits and such
2) Ads: there are ads on the site to finance our operations obviously
3) OneSignal: a push notification system, not everyone uses it but it's still offered
4) Cookie acceptance prompt for EU users, as per European laws
5) Cloudflare includes some javascript somewhere on the page to determine whether you are a bot based on your behavior
I think your addon (or whatever you use to get to these numbers) also analyzes tracking factors on these external domains - the domains from which the scripts listed above are pulled, so in the end it's misleading. Especially if you compare these results to some kind of average: yes we are different than your average site in that we are considered a high traffic site, and as such we have to use components tailored to our size.
