Homebrew usb loader gx is not reading my usb and wiiflow isn't either

whenever i try to use usb loader it stops (disk is already formated to fat32 and already made the files lighter using wii back up manager, i've also made sure it was in the correct port and tried it on both multiple times so even if i was using an incorrect port i could've fixed it myself) it normally stops at around second 11 when its trying to find the hdd, it also has a Y cable in case that's important and if you thought it wasn't getting enough power i've been connecting both cables, it's a really old hdd so i'd understand it if it just didn't work but it works when i try to use a different homebrew app like wiixplore or that one snes emulator i can't remember the name of (games did work on the emulator) i also tried putting a single game in my sd card and usb loader (mario kart) didn't show it but wiiflow did (it just didn't work when i tried to load it)

- Your USBLoader GX Version/Revision please ?
- Your USBLoader GX Loader´s IOS (58 or 249) please ?
- Your Games/ISOs/wbfs Files are ok ? Maybe you have made them "lighter" too much ?
- Your cIOS 249 / 250 Setup please ? Maybe a sysCheck can help.

The cIOS 249 is the Key.If that is not configured correctly,the USB Game Loading is failing....

Did you have already tried the USBLoader GX Enhanced MOD from @blackb0x

Please copy this Files over the already existing Files on your SD Card.
And please try and change in the USBLoader GX Settings (Settings - Loader Settings) the Loader´s IOS 58 or 249.

I am more thinking about the Case,maybe the Controller from that is the "Culprit".

Based on my experience some HDDs just won't work. I had 100% success rate with WD My Passports and WD My Book drives, others were hit or miss.
