Pretty sure you aren't allowed to say the names of shops since it's pretty similar to linking to them. Anyway, that shop is currently down due to some Google Drive issues and there's no ETA on when it's back up.

Ive seen gbatemp staff mention jits by name before so i assume its fine as long as you arent actually giving links. And yeah id check with the source, theyre probably having issues.

Unfortunately jits have announced that it's closing it's 'shop' (if you can call it this way). You can check their announcement in their official d-cord channel.

It was a good run, we had fun times these last few years. Sadly we cant continue with the new restrictions gdrive has put in place. Unless someone finds a breakthrough it wont be possible for any shop the size that jits was to operate. I foresee other shops either going private or remaining relatively small, because even as things are with most of them getting a few thousand users theyre constantly at quota. The era of shops, at least public ones, is probably at an end forever.

There are other shops available and some still working. Just got to do a bit of Googling, looking at reddit, etc. Some shops also have a list of other shops in their Discord which you can look at.

Yeah I have been exploring others, but none are as reliable or varied :(. most of the items I have tried don't seem to work.

Seems like most are having issues because of Google Drive changing stuff. I've made my own private shop for friends as a temporary solution until a new stable public one is hopefully sorted because of all this. Another benefit of having a home server with a lot of storage since it also means no quota issues.

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.
