So I tried 6.0.0 because Choi said 6.2 does not work. I got the same blackscreen.
I then tried some things in this thread:
no need to check emuMMC if eMMC does not even work. I would try to rebuild nand if possible if all the solutions fails

I hope you still have a clean prod.keys or keys.txt to rebuild the nand.

Where i tried to boot FW 8.1 via RRRetro_Reloaded but that also, like everything else lol, also results in a blackscreen.

I follow these guides quite carefully so i dont think that im doing anything wrong.

Have you tried using eMMCHaccGen?

So the only option is AutoRCM?
Just curious why tabzer mentioned it’s obsolete
Exactly which is why I'm equally curious why he said its obsolete because this is the first I'm hearing of it. Either he meant obsolete in a different context or he knows some magical way of entering RCM without a jig.

This is a misunderstanding caused by me. I was coming from the approach AutoRCM was being used as a mechanism to prevent from booting into OFW during a time when emuMMC didn't yet exist.

Yeah i already tried that. And just now again. Booting without AutoRCM and sdcard also results in Blackscreen.
I have 14 burnt Fuses and the internet says thats 11.x.x which is also the backup i restored to.
I was recently having exactly the same issue, except all I did to cause it was updating atmosphere, it turned out to be that the version of the emunand was lower than the latest sigpatches (11.x emunand vs 12.x sigpatches), the only way I was able to go past the black screen was using a lower version of the sigpatches / atmosphere. Maybe you could try that? Download the sigpatches specific to that version. I can't promise it will work, but it did for me.

Hi there, sorry for replying to a post from one year ago if that disturb you. Have you solve the problem? I have the exact same problem with you. After opening my switch for a cleanup and thermal paste replacement, it won't boot anymore. The chip and heatpipe are warm so there's something undergoing. I am able to get into hekate and any other payloads, but not the actual system. OFW and Atmosphere (both sysnand and emunand) lead to a completely black screen (the screen doesn't lit up at all). Switchroot also leads to a blackscreen, including TWRP recovery. I tried fusse both through RCM and chainload from hekate, but it just gives me a blue screen. I have latest backup of everything and I tried every method this post mentioned, which didn't work.

For me the strangest part is that I wasn't even use a CFW when it happened. I have a dedicated sd card for homebrew staff and used another sd ofw only most of the time. I haven't insert that homebrew sd for nearly a month. Nand module also seems to be fine because I was able to do backup and restore after it won't boot with no error. And unlike the op, I didn't not open the shield for the chip, just play around with the heatsink.

Make a backup of your nand backup and open it in NxNandManager. Download firmware 11.0.1 and right click in NxNandManager to restore Boot0/Boot1. Then restore the backup to switch.

I'm trying to fix my switch - how do you use the downloaded firmware to restore the boot0/1 backup? NxNandManager won't open up the .zip or the NCA files.
