the 1st and 3rd picture are from twilight on the console not the one on flashcart, but if everything is fine in the settings, is there a way to enable clock speed and all that? since the options dont appear on the flashcard or console version fo twilight, ive heard people say it needs to be enables on wood kernel but it doesnt seem like i can do the shortcuts or access the wood kernel at all because it auto boots to twilight.
With the SCFG and Slot-1 autostart settings enabled, the settings from the console TWLMenu++ will always be used, regardless if you're using a flashcard or not.
Make sure "Use nds-bootstrap" is enabled, if you don't see the clock speed in the per-game settings.

it doesn't appear when i turn on use nds bootstrap, just gives the set as donor and language settings

is the gb cartridge option in the ds menu that says (this feature is not available) enabled when I dump gb and gba roms? or is it just aesthetic
cause id be pretty cool if there was a way to make that option connected to the gb theme so that a game boy style menu appears for gameboy games but maybe thats reaching

Make sure you're launching the TWLMenu++ title on the 3DS HOME Menu, and not the flashcard icon.

That's because the GBA slot isn't available on DSi and 3DS consoles.

oh, all my games are on the flashcart, and the infinite white screen appears when i try launching the flashcart version through the 3ds version. or do you mean enable nds bootstrap on the 3ds version before launching the flashcart?
Edit: it still doesn’t show up after enabling it on the 3ds version of twilight and opening the flashcart

and damn okay, if there is a way to enable a similar gb theme on a sd card powered gb cartdige for the ds im gonna have to check it out

Edit: after messing around for a bit the options poped up, though they still disappear sometimes but the games still continue to run better

The white screen would be either that you need to apply the "whitescreen fix" OR in your settings screenshot (I believe pic3) you have "DSi Mode (Forced)" which indeed whitescreens on most games for myself as well. As far as I understand (not sure if it works), you're supposed to use DS mode or DSI mode (NOT forced) or just leave it at default BUT change the clock speed to 133mhz and it should boot through twlm++ with the enhancements

Is the Twilight Menu updater busted or something? I just updated Twilight menu to the latest version (19.1.1) the .zip file downloads but does not extract like before instead the updater just says "Done!", Booting twilight menu into settings shows that twilight menu is still on version 18.5.0, do I need to manually update twilight menu?

You can use Universal Updater instead.

This might sound really really dumb, but on a 3DS running TWiLight Menu++, for homebrew that would store files on the system SD card via DLDI or the like, where on the SD card should those files be located?

Like with DsDsRevolution for example, back on my original DS Phat, DsDsR.nds could be located anywhere but the DsDsR folder included with the download had to be located in the root of the SD card.

I only ask as a sanity-check to confirm/refute if the multiple DLDLI homebrew apps I've tried to run need to use the ramdisk work-around or if I'm just doing something wrong.

If the homebrew works properly for you, then you don't need a RAM disk.

Well that's the thing - they don't. It's the main reason I'm looking for a sanity check because none of the DLDI homebrew apps I've used have worked - only ones that don't rely on DLDI and/or don't need SD card access have worked such as "SpoutEX".

But the thing is, these are old homebrew apps - from the late 2000s back when manually applying DLDI patches were still a thing; in particular I was using a slot-2 homebrew device (M3 Perfect Lite with full-sized slot-2 shell). Therefore I've no idea if they don't know how to account for whatever TWiLight Menu++ is trying to do or if the whole concept of DLDI underwent some major change since then.

The aforementioned DsDsRevolution is a good example that seems to still have it's downloads available despite being over a decade old now...though the webpage is all in Japanese (not that it's difficult - the "080908バージョン(v0.4.4)" link is the newest version download):
https://w.atwiki.jp/tako2lab/pages/20.html

EDIT: Since it doesn't come with any songs to test with, I quickly uploaded a package with a single freely-available song that I already had set up on my DS Phat over a decade ago (file will be automatically deleted in a few months):

When a RAM disk is first opened, it'll basically be the "flashcard" root the homebrew app reads.
Any folder that'd go in the same place as the .nds file, goes in the root of the RAM disk.

OK yes, but what about when not using a ramdisk? Should they just go on the root of the SD card as well?

So, I have aproblem that I can't fix alone. I'm trying to connect my Pokewalker on a Soul Silver ROM (in Twilightmenu++ v19.1.1, using nds-bootstrap Ver. Release v0.38.0 in my Old 3DS) using a japanese cartridge of Heart Gold as a vessel, but I couldn't. The connection doesn't happen. I tested using my white 2 cartridge as a vessel too, but it have the same results, as the same trying to connect my White 2 cartridge with a Black 2 ROM in TWLMenu++ via IR. And yes, I managed the options to:

DS Classic Menu = No
DSi/Saturn Select = Select Menu
Slot 1 micro sd access = Off

So, I don't have idea what I'm doing wrong. Someone have experencied this situation and could fix? Thanks for reading.

You're doing nothing wrong.
IR functionality is just broken at the moment.

Make sure "Slot-1 microSD access" is turned off, and that pressing SELECT brings up the SELECT menu, in TWLMenu++ Settings.
I have japanese copy of Soul Silver and pokewalker. When I use TwilightMenu++ with Jap Cartridge, Pokewalker works well. When i use downloaded Eng SoulSilver ROM and running it in TwilightMenu (with cartridge in 3ds), system don't find Pokewalker. How can i connect Pokewalker with Eng ROM?

I have the same case, but in reverse , I have English copy of Soul Silver and White 2 and pokewalker. When i use TwilightMenu++ and I use downloaded japanese SoulSilver ROM and running it in TwilightMenu (with English cartridge Soul Silver or White 2 in 3ds), system don't find Pokewalker
