Hacking XSX Mining (Yes I know they have their own forum)

Hi, first of all I know it has it's own forum but it is kinda dead. So anyway I have had my series x from launch day and after doing some mining on my sad sad gpu I realised that the XSX had a much more powerful gpu so I researched a little and came up with nothing. So does anyone know or can code a XSX miner?

You shouldn’t need CFW with dev mode

If any already exist they haven't been made publicly available, you would either need to port an existing one that will work or code one yourself into a uwp app and run it in dev mode, MS has banned miner from the retail app store because devs were caught hiding them in there apps, and most devs will not share that kind of app while they are still making a profit from it.

You can actually run Win32 programs (command line only) in dev mode via ssh.
Just not sure (and very likely not) if current Win32 miners would work out of the box on Xbox.

You wouldn't want to run a miner in dev mode, though, since resources are cut in half. You can only make full use of the hardware in retail mode.

This is true unless you can sign it as a game, games have full utilization of the gpu in dev mode, apps only have 45%

Crypto mining is not possible unless you have cfw or full hardware access, which has not come to fruition


Any miner running in dev mode will not provide good performance
Plus Dev mode doesn't provide full system resources it's a sandbox

It's not worth it. I have tried monero mining under dev mode on an Xbox One (since monero doesn't take GPU computing power).
XMRig works out of the box but the hashing speed is only about 60 hashes/second which means at that speed and current currency, it could only generate $0.1067 per month, non-stop.
