Hi!

I have been working on a Modern C++ high level engine called Butano.

Since there's no good engines without full games developed with them, I have just released Butano Fighter, a shoot 'em up for the GBA.
The full source code and the creative commons assets of this game are included with Butano.

If you try the game, please post your high score!
Also, if you have time please tell me what you think.

Thanks!

Looks really nice!:)
I´m getting Amiga vibes from the game.

Thanks!

Butano allows to make raster effects easily, so I guess the Amiga vibes are from that and from the music :).

I have uploaded two videos with more raster effects in the game :P.

Currently there's no way to turn off vibration, I thought everyone was going to like it :D

There's no way to turn off vibration from the flashcard menu?
No, I can’t turn it off from the flashcart. I can use a different cart, though. The vibration is nice, but I don’t want to wake those sleeping near me. So, an option to turn it off would be great. :)

I have updated the game with an option to enable or disable rumble in the title menu. I hope it helps :)

Hey, thats rad! Thanks for creating the option. Unfortunately, I broke my gameboy. So I'll pick this up again when i get my new screen in a month. I broke my ribbon cable to the screen. Smashed it good. This'll be the first game i try when I fix it.
