Tales of Arise was announced nearly two years ago, and since then, word on the game's progress has been slim. To celebrate Tales of Festival, Bandai Namco put out a new trailer for the game, giving fans a long-awaited glimpse at some more info. The trailer is a teaser for the story, focusing on snippets of cutscenes rather than gameplay, as Tales of Arise still lacks a release window. Further news on the game has been promised to be shown in Spring 2021, at the very least.

the game does look good, but I might be more excited for the game if it was on the switch. I don't own an xbone, and having an exploitable ps4 makes that system out of the question too.

another thing is I didn't like the direction tales went in with zestiria, berseria, and xillia. I bought zestiria on the ps4 and pirated the other two on the ps3/4. I made a backup of zestiria for the ps4. I injected the game's keystone, so my legit saves work with it (even with a different account using account activator, @Leeful 's script, and save mounter). I still have a copy of the game though, because it's not worth much. the four or five retail games I own for the ps4 are worth about $50 combined.

I like vesperia though. however, it has too much backtracking. though, I miss overworlds, so the one in that game is a welcome addition. I got to the end of the game with a burn on the 360, but my save was lost. I bought the game on the switch. I think I'm saved outside the dungeon I'm supposed to go to, but I don't remember what's going on in the game.

This is the longest amount of time since the last Tales game in the series history, although they did have a tendency to kind of just churn them out in the past. They were saying they wanted to modernize the series and I do love Tales, but I'm also trying not to let expectations get out of hand.

I would highly suggest Tales of Graces F on the PS3 (Specifically the PS3 version because the Wiii Version is either bugged, missing extra PS3 bonus story, and much lower quality art). It was so damn good imo.

I personally liked Xillia/Xillia , which I thought were easily some of the weakest in the series despite being far from the worst. Berseria absolutely blew me away honestly but Zestiria I didn't even finish, its just so boring.

Symphonia, my entry to the series, so fucking good. Though Symphonia -Dawn of the New World- fucking sucks ass, it's easily the absolute worst of the franchise.

I would highly suggest Tales of Graces F on the PS3 (Specifically the PS3 version because the Wiii Version is either bugged, missing extra PS3 bonus story, and much lower quality art). It was so damn good imo.

I have all the tales games on the ps3. I'm surprised symphonia was in there, but that's my personal favorite. I've gotten to the end of graces f, but I lost my save. I've thought if I decide to go legit that would be the first game I buy followed by jak and daxter collection.

Honestly I don't even want to look at it, I just want the game to release and I'll try it when it'll be out, don't care too much about anything that will remind me of it's existence.
It's one of the games I can't totally forget and get excited when it's released, not some others that I feel like I'm waiting for years ..... wait I'm actually waiting years

between unreal engine, the game not looking as stylistically coherent as earlier titles and the choice in Va's not really fitting the character appearances... my hopes are getting low on this one
