After several delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it looks like the anticipated Mario-themed park at Universal Studios Japan, Super Nintendo World, will finally open its doors to the public next week. The official Nintendo Japan Twitter account made the announcement that the park will open on March 18:

I'll wait for more parks to open up and then buy a pass for Super Nintendo All Stars + Super Nintendo World. Patient amusement parkers FTW.

Anyway, this is opening a tad sooner than I expected. I was guessing they would try it around May, after more vaccines are rolled out. I guess they have to open up sometime though.
