If you have a mod chip you can fix it by getting two isos of brawl, error seems centered on the fact that you installed a wrong sysmenu.

003 brick is caused by:
-using official IOS70 or 80 (as opposed to the Modmii recommendation of a titleID-changed IOS60 exactly for this reason)
-using a non-Korean wii menu
-while still having the extra Korean key installed in eeprom

If Korean titles are not desired, the most stable* solution can be obtained by using KoreanKii (an homebrew) to remove the key

* = resistant to further actions possibly by someone else years down the line

Required is a big word, but yes if you want to make your Korean console as possibly accurate to another region's... yep, you need to remove the extra key (which of course makes titles using it no more installable) and viceversa

One typically uses an exploit, like bluebomb, to install other prerequisites to using a usb loader, like the homebrew channel and cios. So indirectly the answer to your poorly phrased question is yes

OK, I've had a super good search and Google, and I can't find a solution to my issue!
I have a 2020 Intel MacBook Air - I learnt after purchasing my Wii Mini that I can't run Linux direct from a USB key anymore.
I then tried installing Ubuntu via Parallels, but Bluetooth doesn't work.
Last gasp was to install Ubuntu via Windows 10 via Parallels (!!) but I can't get that rolling either.

So - does anyone have a solution for the Linux part of this process via recent Mac hardware?

I don't use Apple product so I'm not entirely sure, but you could try to build it by yourself, If you're familiar with this kind of a thing. It's literally one `make` away, with some `brew`s to install dependencies.

Or you could try to bypass the bluetooth device to your VM, not sure it is possible, but If it supports USB Passthrough You could get a USB Bluetooth dongle and passthrough it to your Ubuntu VM. I think the reason it didn't work at your VM is because It wasn't able to access to your Bluetooth hardware.

thanks - yes I think if I can track down the right USB Bluetooth adaptor that would work - trying to save spending any more money on a bit of a silly project honestly!!

From what I can see there’s no way to build the Linux part on any other system though it’s a bit over my head anyway!!

Speedlink VIAS Nano USB Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter. Known to work with Linux. I personally use it.

I've been stuck at "waiting to accept" for so long now on my Wii mini. My cheap Bluetooth adapter seems to work fine in Linux Mint 19 (newer kernel do not seem to work with the BT adapter). I can pair it with wireless headset and listen to music on linux.
Does the exploit require an original wiimote and not the motion plus? Can someone please confirm if indeed it can be done using motion plus wiimotes or without any wiimotes at all connected at first.
I've tried turning on the console on without the "red" wiimote. I've tried turning it on with the wiimote and remove the battery on the health and safety screen, still waiting to accept. I've tried going easy on the wii sync button and I've tried showing no mercy on that button.
What am I missing? What do I need to try? Any help would be appreciated

Edit: I've tried another USB Bluetooth 2.0 adapter (with no wiimotes connected at all) and it worked flawlessly within less than a mintue! both adapters were working fine in linux; so if someone got stuck on "waiting to accept" just try different bluetooth adapters. Thanks everyone

You're supposed to have no Wiimotes (or any other accessories) connected to the Wii at all. It takes while, sometimes a couple of tries. Keep pressing that sync button. Also, make sure that you're console is as close as possible to your bluetooth dongle/PC. Also make sure there are no other bluetooth devices nearby. Basically, try to keep the connection as crisp as possible.

If you have the Nintendo Wifi Usb adapter is possible, but it would be easier to try to run ModMii in Wine.

I actually have that thing but I haven't dared to hack it.
