wierd, did you check the pins of the cartridge slot on the DSi LL?
if it works on your latest fw 3DS it should still work on DSi any fw.
by the way 1.4.2 ain't the latest...
as far as i know DSi didn't get any updates past 1.4.5, wich had about the same bans as the 3ds fw 7.x as i'm not mistaken.

I don't have a dsi, but I do have a dstwo. it works on the latest firmware for the 3ds, and I've had no issues with it working on the ds. my only thought is that maybe you have it setup to use forwarders or twilight menu with the 3ds itself. I think there may be a few different files for the ds/dsi.

I tried to push the flashcart a little by one of the sides and it was recognized! But if i move my hands the card disconnect. Any homemade solution for this?

possibly tape. I know I have a hell of a time ejecting it from the 3ds. I have put my fingers in the card slot slightly after using the spring loader, then pull it out. it doesn't come out all the way. no issue with the ds though.

Yeah, the weak connection problem is with the DSi. The 3DS work with no issues.

I can't really think of something good to pad one side so that it stays in place. I dunno if tape will be a good fix for it or not.

if you got something like a dental hook, disconnect de dsi's battery, use a dental hook to pull the contacts towards where the cardridge goes a bit.
even a fraction of movement could make a way better connection, and it shouldn't give any problems with the other cartridges.

Ok, I applied alcohol with a little cotton bar on the flashcart connectors and it worked! God only knows how many years I didn't pull out the DSTwo from my 3DS

Oh, okay, this is solved, but I wanted to comment anyway. I have the same problem with mine, my Lite doesn't like to pick up the DSTWO, whereas 3DS is all good. Cleaning the contacts with alcohol and some cotton swab tips does it, as you know :yaynds:
