Could someone help me identify if these carts are fake or not?

OoE:

OoE's circuit board is a lighter green, and it's golden pins don't reflect.

ZX:

ZX's circuit board is the correct color and the golden pins somewhat reflects but not as well.

Both carts have the correct serial numbers, however, there are fakes that also does the same (Check: "How to Spot a Fake Pokemon Platinum Nintendo DS Game Cartridge!"). Moreover, OoE and ZX shares the dark brown lower pins rather than an authentic cart's lighter hue. The back "NINTENDO" and "NTR-005 PAT. PEND." are larger on the ZX cart, yet two of my authentic carts (both bought new during its year of release) are different to each other regarding font size and engraving depth. Both OoE and ZX have the authentic top cartridge mold mark.

If both of my carts happened to be fakes, then it's well made.

If they are fakes then they are some of the best I have ever seen. Serial numbers on screen print, plastic spacers between pins, pins themselves different lengths.
Shininess or lack thereof of the pins probably speaks more to where it was stored for however many years it has been now. Castlevania logo does not look brilliant but the rest of the label is OK and wandering through an image search says the originals were also a bit suspect on the aliasing front.

Looking at the PCB itself would probably be the best way but if you have an updated 3ds or maybe DSi and they work in that then that would also speak to something, especially if the proper logos appeared in them (don't think either were particularly suited to use as a https://hackmii.com/2010/02/lawsuit-coming-in-3-2-1/ game).

Looking at the PCB itself would be the best way, yet I don’t want damage these carts if it could be authentic. Moreover, OoE is an expensive game (sells for around $90-$105). The closest I’ve done regarding the PCB is scrutinizing its colors near the pins (authentic PCBs are darker). Both games bypassed my DSi’s firmware and it’s respective logos appeared; however, I don’t own a 3ds.

Afaik, they both are legit - the font (the “e” usually gives if it’s a fake) and depth of “Nintendo” and the “NTR-005 PAT. PEND.” in the back of the carts are ok plus the code is the same from the respective cartridges (YR9E and ARZE).

The pins not being shiny could just be wear or they were stored in higher than optimal humidity. If you have some concentrated ispropyl alcohol (70% or higher) put some on a qtip and give them a rub to make them shiny again. Besides potentially needing they appear perfectly legit to me.
