I think you need a physical chip, and thats not something you should do, if you arent sure and have the tools, modding copy/pasting some folders its easy

for Patched v1 and Mariko Consoles - Switch v2 Red Box and Switch lite you need SX Mod Chip to hack them the installation is very complex no way you can do it without the proper tools and been good with micro soldering

You don't because there is no way nor is there a guarantee there will ever be a way in the future. You should have just gotten an unpatched unit instead.

Things can be unhackable. The switch lite and Switch V2 is one of them for example. SciresM (the guy who handles Atmosphere) confirmed that there is no software exploit available. Meaning all future hacks will have to be done via a modchip. Possible for a random exploit to appear but I highly doubt it. Anyone who was lucky enough to keep their switch firmware 1.0.0 - 4.1.0 can enjoy the deja vu exploit which doesnt require any sort of modchip or hardware mod. All done by software.

I have two V1 units but one wasn't homebrewed and my brother updated to 11.01 last night so that ruined all chances for me (As far as I'm aware) is there a way to homebrew a V1 unit on latest firmware or is it just a waiting game.
