When I double click it it prompts me to install it, I click install, it says it was a success, and when I try to open Forwarder3DS with it it says the install wasn't successful.

It's System Type is 64 bit, but the OS build says 19042.746. Also it's a laptop if that has anything to do with it.

You can't yet. We're waiting for the RTCom widescreen code to be released.

Having trouble with the forwarder3ds part. I have downloaded the java 8 update 251 like in the instructions. Double click the .jar and nothing happens. Tried the .bat file. Nothing happens.

Added pause at the end of the .bat and got this error

Error: Could not find or load main class com.olmectron.forwarder.Forwarder3DS
Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javafx/application/Application

Edit: I see now. FAQ confused me with the initial Linux users part since I use windows. I'll try that later.

hi may i request for help. i followed the instructions wrongly and i drag the nds files from my pc to the forwarder. and when i tried installing the cia and play it the game says unable to find path. and so i tried deleting the software\the installed cias from my 3ds but i cant seem to figure out how. i tried going to the settings and delete it but it dosent seem to detect the installed cias file at all. so now i need help to remove the current installed cias in my 3ds home and replaced it with a new cia with the correct path. thanks in advance.

edit: its ok i have solved it i delete it through fbi and now it works as planne. great software btw

You can also delete the forwarder in the DSiWare part of Data Management.

Hi i followed the guide and have the game working. Im just a little confused about the save file. Do i also need to get the .sav file from the game cart and move it somewhere? I also cant work out where the save files are being created. I have the forwarder file in the SD root but i created a folder called roms and inside a folder called nds and then in that saves but it doesnt seem like it is making the save files in the saves folder.

Hooray! I got it. I downloaded a java development kit and it worked.

Ok, i tried javfix, development kit version of java and both of the recommended version but it seems i just cant open the jar file. Lemme post the error i got. i tried everything, even some 3rd party jar opening apps. I used run bat and pause trick to get this

ok so v2.8 opens up but i cant use that, after updating it it just backs to square one, nothing happens at the updated version
