The World Ends With You is still unplayable, since the opening cutscene freezes at a certain point (the top screen becomes white with glitchy effects too). I’m using an old 3DS, with the latest release of the bootstrap.

Final Fantasy III does the same thing (freeze on the intro) but you can bypass the intro by pressing the a button

Change the clock speed to TWL, in the per-game settings.

I just found my OG R4 card which is like 11 years old is there anyway I can boot this thing using twilight menu++? I don't even remember what kernel/games I had on this thing, it would be amazing to see what games/saves I have on here if its possible to boot this thing in the first place, I'd prefer not to mess with the ancient 2gb sd card on this thing.

Yes. In TWiLight Menu++, press SELECT, and then select the Slot-1 option.

Thanks for the quick response, do you mean press select on the main menu of twilight menu++ or at the boot up screen to go to settings, because nothing happens when I press select on the main menu of twilight menu, btw I am using twilight menu 17.0

Just did that, it showed up with "Slot1 no info", tried booting it up and the touch screen just shows red and green squares with the top screen completely white, its been sitting like that for a couple minutes now, I guess I'll have to use a sd card reader then to see if the sd cards fine.

Nope. It's a TWiLight Menu++ issue.

Its all good just renamed a save file off of the R4 and found this bad boy, those were the days, thanks for this awesome software!

@robz Hi,robz. I have purches a fully new-3ds. and it could run twlmenu++ scuccessfully. But it have problem about chinese character and some japanese character when showing. How could i add the missing character manually? by the way, the missing letter has been shown as "?" (replaced by question mark) in twlmenu++.
And could I show file name instead of japanese game title? Some game were translated into chinese but didn't change their game title were still japanese. I have marked chinese name onto file name but don't know how to show it. In no way , i have been pushed to rename a dictionary but it still show ? mark. hopefully next version could fix it. the name should be"勇者传说" in example，the filename in page 2 was 暮末恋华，same to the game icon,but it show japanese in title. the other game was more worse-- they haye no word in icon, just a photo seems not related to game.

After the latest update, I've noticed what I think is a bug.
In the TWilight Menu ++ GUI, when I'm selecting the DS games (when I see the icons), I notice some flickering single lines (It's difficult to describe, but it's like a line with the width of a pixel or so, when I scroll the icons). Is this a bug?

I think I've noticed that in Ultimate Mortal Kombat for DS too.

I haven't noticed this bug on 3DS games or other apps, just in TWilight menu.

Edit: It might had had something to do with the TWPatcher patch I'd done, because I didn't noticed the "flicker" after deleting the TwlBg.cxi file within sysmodules. I'll test it a bit more to confirm that later.

Check the controls on how to switch between the SD card and flashcard.
If it doesn't work, then your flashcard is apparently unsupported, so you'll need to install TWLMenu++ on your flashcard, and turn on "Auto-start Slot-1" before launching your flashcard using TWLMenu++.
