Emunand offline with incognito + 90 dns and stealth mode enabled (only if sx os), sysnand with the latest fw and micro sd removed or use a different sd card for the sysnand. This is the best way for now, doesn't guarantee that will work in the future

you can use switch lan play

I don't have an exploited switch, but you may be able to use xlink kai. that's what people on the 360 have done with jtag/rgh for years.

Also dont try to play online with piracy or save hacks/edits in competitive games thats an ez ban

using xci or nsp online that you don't own it's 100% ban guaranteed within 2 weeks even on emunand (without incognito, dns etc), if you want to play online , you have to use a total clean sysnand without cfw

Also even legit dumps from your own game carts WILL get you banned
so i suggest having the game already legit downloaded or having the physical version

I've been running cfw on sysnand while in airplane mode to save my game, transferring the save files to my pc to edit and then injecting back to game. Once injected and confirmed to be okay, I'll turn off airplane mode and play as normal. If I understand the replies above, I should also be taking the sd card (with the cfw and game saves) out of the console before going back online?

p.s. game is owned, running on physical cart.

Ok i have a idea. When i want to play a dumped game i shoukd Disconnect IT from the wlan. Later i Can take the sd card out and injrct my original smash bros or Mario kart game to play online. Is This safe? I think its a good idea or maybe there is a better one? I want to play dumped games just for Single Player games like skyrim, das ist weit her

you have a dirty sysnand, so probably you'll be banned if you go online, why didn't you use an offline emunand?

I can't recall exactly why I didn't use the emunand with cfw. I was having difficulty getting everything up and running and it seems like I was thrashing around looking for help but not finding any. I guess I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around all the concepts. I spent the last two days just trying to get usb-botbase working and finally did, but that broke one of the other programs I use. So, today I just wiped everything and I'm starting once again from scratch. At this point I wonder if it's even worth it.

I've been running an offline emunand and playing online with a clean sysnand for months. It's great having both options, and I've played quite a bit of MK8D online, it's really addictive and the voice chat is fun.

You messed up too much the sysnand, probably the only way is to restore a clean backup made before cfw (the backup should be the same fw you have now in your sysnand or you will get a brick for efuse mismatch), if you don't have the clean backup probably you will get a ban within 2 weeks, especially if you have installed nsp that even if you uninstall them the traces will remain inside the nand

I've never used nsp's. Only physical carts purchased from a store, 100% legit. The only reason I'm using CFW is to backup Animal Crossing since there wasn't a way to back it up before. Now that they've provided backup and transfer utilities, it's really not needed anymore, so I'll most likely factory reset and start from scratch.

You can setup atmosphere with an emummc to play backup games on and keep your sysnand clean without cfw to play online with your purchased games.

Really depends on the state of the Switch when you get it. Like I've bought a used one and the guy pirated and the Switch was banned right away. Assuming it's a clean enough Switch, most people make an emunand based on the current NAND then do the hacky dirty stuff there once they've used Incognito/Tinfoil to erase product info then link to another account via Linkalho/kefir updater on the emunand. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that this is safe since Nintendo could just look at SD card files and ban people.

I'd really like to see the statistics of where you came up with 2 weeks because most, if not all, bans happen sporadically with varying degrees of time from less than a day to up to a year.

I've read other people saying that Nintendo has no way to see the contents of the SD card. Is this verified somewhere?
