the game does seem to freeze in the gruntilda fight. I just wanted to let anyone know because the compatibility list says it works fine, but i did encounter a freezing issue there and i'm not sure what the cause of it was. I had to unplug the wii u and plug it back in. Is freezing a common issue with BK on wii u or was i just unlucky?

Those emulators are even worse.
And honestly, yeah i only had the issue with Gruntilda and that's it. Everything else with only some very slight sound issues here and there

you must be using very old versions, the recent versions especialy of not64 with vwii vc overclock run amazingly well and yeah i doubt anyone on the compatibility list played the game to the end tbh.

the only ones i completed to the end and i can confirm they are 100% is like bomberman hero, chameleon twist and some minor ones, the rest like most people played like 30min at best and moved on lol.

so imo you can use not64 wiivc injected and overclock it to never loose frames or sound issues, with fb textures on it runs preety damn well.

Actually the latest builds of Not64 and Wii64 Rice, are great, BK runs really well on them, in fact when used with overclock there is little to no performance issues with the game in question. Granted I haven't got that far in the game on the Wii U, but it's certainly a viable option to try with these latest builds, if the VC inject is giving you issues.

I wanna grab a 360 Slim and a 360 E one of these days. Missed the boat of getting them at their lowest though, once they were discontinued. Could've got them for cheap back when I was a broke 20 something working at Target, but then again, I was a broke 20 something working at Target
