Hacking My R4 3DS SDHC Gold Pro Stopped Working

It worked fine for about a month, then it stopped appearing in the Home Menu of my 3DS, my DS Lite, and my Original DS.

It just doesn't show up in the Home Menu, or GodMode9.

When I insert it in/out of my old 2ds, the "There is nothing inserted" message flickers for a moment, showing me a sign that it is definitely reading for at least a split second.

In GodMode9, when I insert it into the old 2ds, it says "Card init failed!" and the "[C:]" drive remains "GAMECART EMPTY."

Is this a timebomb? I've never heard of one quite like this..

I don't think that it was a kind of timebomb (timebomb acts different, afaik). Check if the flashcard micro SD isn't faulty/damaged and check if inside of the microSD are its respective kernel archives

If all above is ok, then possibly your flashcard got bricked for any reason

The SD kernel is fine, could it have been the DSi enhanced games? e.g. Pokemon Black 2 / White 2?

I'm just literally concerned.. Did the seller rip me off, or was it my own doing?

For just (try to) using DSi enhanced games I don't think so.

In my case (I also have a flashcard... but a r4igold.cc classic model), when microSD card is not (well) inserted on the flashcard slot then icon isn't shown (and flashcard is not recognized). It could be something similar in your case; then check all about the microSD card and the flashcard slot... Also try to clean (with isopropyle alcohol, or another clean type solution for electronics, and a brush) the bottom connection pins of the flashcard.

If you also want, try to force the loading of your flashcard through TWLMenu++ or using this (or perharps better this)
